How do you feel about them?

I'm 13, my voice is neutral, not squeaky or really deep. I play with adults all the time and they don't complain. I don't talk much, I say things I need to say! And nobody complains. I guess that means I'm doing it right

1 ReplyThe defining characteristics of a squeeker: 1) Never stop talking 2) Tell people what to do and act like they know more than others The voice itself isn't the worst part, its just the constant annoying attitude. Any young person reading this should take note.

When I notice that somebody is uncomfortable with my voice I usually just keep to myself unless it's important. I play just like any one else, but I am just a bit younger and I have a slightly higher voice. The only friends on my friends list who are under 14 are my friends from school. I am lucky to have found such tolerable friends who are older. I am decent at crucible, but I prefer Call of Duty, but that's a whole other story. I do good in raids and nightfalls and I have made the occasional friend from showing off my skirmish skills, haha. But to sum up this thread, I am sorry for all those annoying 11-13 year olds that ruin our reputation, and I can understand why you can be so quick to judge, hey, I am too, but I just wish sometimes people were more open minded. Oh, and also a side note is that I don't swear every other sentence because I think it's cool. Thanks for reading! Edit: A lot of so called "adults" here that don't seem like they are any less ignorant than children.

Guys who went turbo puberty and sound like chronic smokers are just as annoying to me as high pitched voices. I automatically think meathead brainless a hole that probably beats his wife and can't cook without a grill.

7 RepliesHere is a clear difference between squeakers and kids. Do they talk non stop for 40 minutes without taking a breath or giving anyone a chance to respond? Do they cuss all the time without good reason to cuss? Are they extremely bossy and think they know everything? Do they refuse to listen to another word anyone else has to say? Do they do things just to ruin a strike/raid for no reason or because you didn't do what they wanted when they wanted? Finally, do they have nothing intelligent to say at all? If a 13 year old can talk intelligently, listen, give good advice, and play at lest on an average level, they aren't a squeaker. If they do all or most of the things listed above, they are a squeaker.

20 RepliesI can't stand kids.... well most of them anyway. If there's just one, I'll just MUTE it. It's funny when they realize that they aren't hearing me and I'm not hearing them.... they will have other teammates ask if I can hear them "nope... don't know what the problem could be" Usually the other adults know perfectly well that I muted the child. Kids should play with other little kids.... I wouldn't go hang out at the park with someone else's child... I have no desire to game with them either. Parents are really stupid to let their children play on-line unsupervised.....

They don't bother me all that much. I'd rather play with a good squeaker then a douchebag "adult." Though some squeakers get annoying when they won't stop messing around, which happens often. I like to have fun but I also want to finish whatever it is we are doing.

Quick question Is it voice AND age? or just voice because im 13 and most people think im 16. Also im really shy and rarely talk so I hope that helps anyone over the age of 18

Any player can be irritating regardless of age. During the last Iron Banner, there was a guy on my team who had a mic and during the entire match all I could hear was loud rap music in the background, his kid crying and whining, his wife talking to him, him talking back to the wife and kid, etc. The whole match sounded like this! Drove me nuts!! I could tell he wasn't paying any attention to the game, as he ended up with a k/d of something like .33 He may not have been a squeaker, but was just as annoying.

1 ReplyThey haunt you, too. If someone in your group has a squeaker on it, they will just join without asking and talk continuously. If one of your friends says "dude, you need to scrub your friends list." It's because you have too many (1) squeakers on it.

1 ReplyI've actually heard more deep voiced chatter at Crota than from squeakers. I've had to tell several folks to cut the chatter and listen to the sword dude. As a side note I dislike when swordbearers whisper. Especially when we have chatty Chaz and talkative Tuck in the game, telling him to "say when".

5 RepliesFew things why these demons are a nightmare. 1. They talk about kid things 2. Their friends always join instantly to every party they are in 3. They often play music so you can hear it through their headset 4. Kids are usually bad at games. 5. Their voice makes me wanna tear my ears out. 6. And they never stop talking. And the sad thing is you really cant keep them out from any game by rating it for adults since some douchebag will always get the game for them.
