Like damn, seriously if you still need to snipe and cheese you guys are terrible.
The cheeses I am referring to are the sniping cheeses where you fight Conflux through Templar from the top.
Edit for the confused:
In a gaming scene the word cheese is used to describe strategies or ways of playing that are really powerful and do not require much skill from the players side at the same time. The term is widely used both in video games and tabletop games alike.

I prefer not cheeseing VOG. It's so much better then Crota. It's fun to take on legions, Oracles and Templar down bottom. (Obsidian mind + Bad juju = Orbs for days! X5 Warlocks for fun = Pricless).

I didn't even know there was a cheese...
-
Oh.... Um..... Yes..... But fu¢k templar I can do it but cheese is so good

1 ReplyWho cheeses the vault of glass?
-
I can do either way. It's almost easier not to cheese.

I haven't cheesed Vault of Glass since late November. It's just so much more fun to actually play and enjoy it, rather than cheat it. In my opinion, Raids are meant for fun that lasts for an hour or two, not for easy loot in ten minutes.

I've done both strats on hard and normal. Quite frankly I don't give a damn anymore. As long as people get it done. If I'm taking a new player through it, I'd prefer to do it by jumping down but I'd also like to show them the snipe approach.

Edited by Εφιάλτης: 3/28/2015 10:46:24 PMAre you saying sniping oracles is a cheese?.. you must be confusing that with the other platform(s) you could get on that was the cheese. IF this was a cheese it would of been very simple for bungie to patch. They haven't said this was a cheese. It is a strategy and is used by many. If you don't want to snipe jump down.

I dont cheese

3 RepliesI can't not cheese. I'm from Wisconsin.

Have done bottom and top strategy Really is up to the relic holder how he wants it done

cant really call something cheese if the game itself respawns you up top after a wipe (oracles/templar). It would be cheese if you spawned below and had to climb back up to the top. It was obviously designed to where you can do either and staying below down for oracles just wipes most players as they can't juggle between goblins/minotaurs/oracles/hobgoblins efficiently. Also since the VoG at this point is useless outside of ppl hunting fatebringer/exotics most just want to get the raid over with.

15 RepliesDoes anyone actually do vog anymore?

5 RepliesAs far as i know you cant cheese anymore. No more pushing either the templar or atheon off the edge, so what the hell are you talking about? A sniper is one of the drops from the raid so i know you are not suggesting that sniping in the raid is cheesing.

1 ReplyIt ain't easy being cheesy!

I keep trying it solo, but can't do it. What is cheesing?
-
How are ppl cheesing VOG!!!! I really don't know what you can cheese the VOG
-
What u mean cheesing u idiot... Theres mutiple ways of doing templar area all which are completely and obviously not cheesing. Weather you stay up and snipe or ignore oracles and cleanse or however you do it. Crota is a cheese platter.. vog isnt.
-
1 ReplyDo you even cheddar bro ;o
-
Sniping isn't cheesing. Weird.
-
It isn't cheesing you idiot
-
Eh, depends on the group. I just go with the flow. Don't really care either way.

2 RepliesI preferred not to snipe back when I played vog. One time I went on lfg looking for people who wanted to fight the Templar on the bottom. It was more difficult than I thought it would be. People will always take the easier way it's human nature. But the easy way is not necessarily the most rewarding or the most enjoyable. There are guys out there who fly fish for the sport..but why in the heck would they do that when they could use more modern fishing equipment..or even buy fish from the store..it's easier..
