Does ANYONE actually know how to do VoG without cheesing anymore?
Like damn, seriously if you still need to snipe and cheese you guys are terrible.
The cheeses I am referring to are the sniping cheeses where you fight Conflux through Templar from the top.

1 ReplyThat's not really a cheese rather as a strat. It's minor. Comparable to the Difference between left side strat and mid window strat for crota. And what we do is we all go down for confluxes until we finish it. When they're done, we go as far as we can during oracles as if we die I go down while everyone else snipes. Se on templar. First try I make everyone go down. After a first try they just snipe while I punch templar in the face with the shield cause -blam!- it.

I always jump down when my team wants to cheese, I just know they'll mess it up with hidden Oracles. Forces them to jump down come relic time too.

Who cares. Its a game everyone plays their own way. The point is to have fun shooting stuff with friends. Tell jokes and hang out. If you don't want to "cheese" stuff, find like minded guardians and play with them.

Cheesing simply is taking the easy way out and just to get through it maybe the first time why not. If anyone want to do VOG and do some exploring and not rush through it then hit me up during 4pm till 3am i'm on of and on in this time frame. Look for me in the last messages player list......And dude it's not fun either running around like a chicken with it's head cut off....there is no wrong way of playing this unless ur out right cheating, not cheesing.....BenDEAssassinPH is my tag

I prefer having at least 1 or 2 up top just to tell me where the teleports are so I can block them. Top, bottom - doesn't matter. Get it done, collect your shitty rewards, and move on.

Cheese? I do it either way depending on the weapons equipped by the team. Frankly when I take the relic at templar it is less hassle with the other players up top sniping. I can get hidden left and right and can roam more freely to get supers quicker.

5 RepliesIt's not a cheese; cheese is crossing the bridge with one person, when the game clearly wants you to NOT do it that way or climbing all he way to the top when the Sworbearer comes out to stop spawning baddies. Sniping is a good and allowed strategy. With most raiders I play with, there's usually one sniper ready to take out the Hobgoblins. That allows others to focus on oracles and whatnot. So yeah, not a cheese.

I've done it both ways, If I'm with my group friends/raid buddies and we wanna knock out VoG quickly, we'll snipe from top. That's only because we know we can first try it that way. We also do the regular kill Templar from right side strategy. It all depends on how we feel. I personally don't care if we snipe or do it "legit", as long as we kill atheon and get our drops.

Yes, I do and when I join a group to run it I specifically ask everyone if they want to fight front lines or up top and it is half and half normally, and I don't mind regardless, as a relic bearer it's simply my job to make their of killing the Templar easier, so whatever they're more comfortable. It's that simple bro.
