Are you having fun in the crucible?
I think that people just need to get over the fact that they are going to die in pvp. There are so many ways you can die like supers, grenades, melee, snipers, shotguns, gunfights against multiple guardians, and heavy ammo.
It is gonna happen. Get over it!
You have to roll with the punches, accept that you are not immortal.. respawn learn from your mistakes or tip your cap because you get out played. Learn what fights you can come out on top and what fights to avoid. With this attitude you will gain experience and knowledge about the game instead of raging like a 2 year old.
So the moral of the story is to develop your play style, figure out what you are good at and find a class and weapons that best compliments your style. If you join a match and you are getting smashed change your weapon set up or change your play style. Maybe take it slower be less aggressive or just the opposite. Getting killed is a part of the game let it go and make an adjustment.

I'm not worried about myself. I usually hold my own and am the top player on my team/lobby. What makes me mad is seeing most of my team going 2 and 21.... I swear I have the worst luck or Bungie wants me to lose.

Agree, obviously, but you reach a point when you come up against certain players or when attempting to play competitively. At the top, its acceptable to expect not die in a game - mark of the unbroken isnt exactly uncommon in skirmish games for me if plaing against noobs.

Yeah it's just a game. I have fun whether I win or lose. It's much better with a friend or two in a party though, many lolz to be had

I just recently started playing crucible again after a long break, and I love it. I usually play on my hunter and my set up is: Thorn Felwinters or Praedeths revenge Jolders hammer or ant tracking rocket launcher. Seems to do the trick for me. I always get a little mad when I die but I get over it, especially when I get a dirty throwing knife kill from half way across the map :p

It's different than other shooters that's for sure. You have to realize that it's less about killing and more about surviving. Once you get that you'll do just fine. Having said that. I'd like to see better loot in the crucible and loot that is predictably provided to the better performing players. I'm fine with getting Blue engrams but as long as they're decoherent. That way I can at least level up Rahool some more. I need to level him up more than I need a rare shotgun. I'd also like it if I got more crucible tokens per match. Currently those are 3 for a win and 2 for a loss. I'd like 5 for a win and 4 for a loss. Or keep it the way it is and make the crucible gear cheaper at the factions.

Loving it until I shoot someone, kill them and run away and then I die from a lagging shotgun. Then I spend the rest of my time complaining to myself about how there's a party of two on the other team with red bar connection. Can't something be done about these people going in with lag switches?

I was until the new buff/nerf shyt. Now it's pulse rifle city n I can't really enjoy it. I was just having so much fun in crucible b4 this I just got into it about a month ago. Was once a strict pve player. Now I'm not even playing destiny at the moment

1 ReplySo real just getting tired of shotguns I use to use nothing but shottys now I'm all about my plan c and 123 syzgy with counter balance x2 .to me... Takes way more skill and patience than running around with a shotty

The last Iron Banner made me have fun in the crucible again... not to mention playing pvp with clan mates now makes it more enjoyable as well.

I would agree that it takes a while to develop your playstyle, but I still don't consider fist of panic getting out played....
