I think that people just need to get over the fact that they are going to die in pvp. There are so many ways you can die like supers, grenades, melee, snipers, shotguns, gunfights against multiple guardians, and heavy ammo.
It is gonna happen. Get over it!
You have to roll with the punches, accept that you are not immortal.. respawn learn from your mistakes or tip your cap because you get out played. Learn what fights you can come out on top and what fights to avoid. With this attitude you will gain experience and knowledge about the game instead of raging like a 2 year old.
So the moral of the story is to develop your play style, figure out what you are good at and find a class and weapons that best compliments your style. If you join a match and you are getting smashed change your weapon set up or change your play style. Maybe take it slower be less aggressive or just the opposite. Getting killed is a part of the game let it go and make an adjustment.

I just want more unique game modes such as: Capture the relic This modes pretty simple VIP 1 person on each team is a vip but the other team don't know who it is. Whoever kills the other teams vip first wins the round. Should be best out of 5. Hold the chalice The chalice spawns randomly. Whoever holds it accumulates points. Person with the most points by the end wins. The chalice can be taken when the holder is killed. The holder drops it so it can be picked up. This could be done 2 ways. It could be a sort of rumble match were it's all v all. Or, there could be 4 small teams of 3 (name them after the factions). Team mates have to work together to protect the person with the chalice.

I can be fun, but guns are too unbalanced.

I would completely agree if the severs were better, but i will never truly be able to tell the difference between what is bullshiit and what the other players red bar is letting happen. Too many times have i been very confused about a death or a kill that has happened because of the 6/12 yellow and red connection bars i see in the crucible.( 1.5kd player with at least 8000+ kills across all three) half the time im dropping 30+ with a 3.0+ kd. The other half im going 0.8 -1 with like 12 kills.
-
I only ever get pissed off in these scenarios: I help my team mate and yet he stops firing and runs off and I end up dying. Then he doesn't revive me. When someone should have died When I don't know what's going on any more

5 RepliesNot to sound like a braggart, but I'm pretty good in Crucible. Despite this, I still find myself hating it more often than I enjoy it. I honestly have been infinitely more angry at my teammates than any enemy I've faced (other than this one guy with Fusion grenades and the Pocket Infinity... let's not get into that), which happens on the basis that I actually like to win games; something that rarely happens these days, due in no small part to my average team's incompetence. The only way I see myself consistently enjoying Crucible is if Bungie incorporates a skill-based matchmaking system. Team balancing is horrendous.

The worst way to die....
...is misadventure, it's too OP
I love crucible and iron banner sometimes i suck sometimes i rock. Its been good to me got some legendary engrams, plan c,and dragons breath.Oh and 4th horsemen.
-
Yes, but It gets boring sometimes for me because of the lack of diverse game modes.
-
15 RepliesI'm not the best in the world, not the worst but I am really getting tired of shotguns and bladedancers. Both require no talent whatsoever. It also makes the game incredibly boring. At least I like to have a challenge.
-
6 Repliesagree! I was watching some pvp on twitch earlier and I have to say that from the sounds people make while playing pvp it doesn't seem like they have a good time. The good guys of Destiny seemed relegated to PVE where they are helpful, generous, happy, and actually having a good time. Maybe it is the nature of a highly competitive environment that creates such aggressive and angry people I am not sure, but sometimes crucible becomes a drain when everyone complains and no one is having fun.
-
Well , I was gonnna complain until I saw what you wrote :)
-
Bump, although I hate it so much when people just stand in one corner of the map and do nothing but snipe, really takes the fun out of the crucible...
-
I only like IB I just hate it to lose against Lv.4 beginners the run with a shotgun -.- AND if i play ROC im finished in ~7-12min. and get always blue engramms In crucible im happy if i get a shitty blue chest -.-

Edited by Kage Goomba: 3/29/2015 8:59:14 AMPretty much....get over dying....and you have more fun. My latest hobby? Post Mortem's <Evil grin> Nothing says epic fail like you killing me in a flashy style...only to get taken out after the fact from beyond the grave hehehe. (OR assists....my teammate will sneak up and finish you off once your shields are toast or worse)

Edited by PONETHEPOON: 3/29/2015 8:58:02 AMI would like it more with more content. Obviously I will get owned, but at least I can choose my method of demise. When I die in Swat in Halo 4 it's simple, someone made the headshot before I did. Crucible is like okay they have a six man team okay they all have felwinters okay I killed him but thorn okay I killed him but lag so I died too okay blade dance okay I'm being teabagged.
-
I enjoy rolling in with NLB most days. When I have a few beers, it's gotta be MIDA though. I have much fun.
-
I'm not very good at it but I still enjoy myself. Just hate dying to lagging players.
-
Nope get tired of shot gunning around the map wish I could practice my head shot with hand canons.
-
This is what I did when I first picked up an fps game. I figured out my play style, how to play the game, and what fights to fight. People who say crucible is annoying/hard are the ones who just get wrecked all day, they don't grasp the basic knowledge of how to shred in a PvP game...
-
I might puke on salvage soon. There is like non existing good players in that mode, that knows what to do. Can't play without a fire team

Edited by Psykh: 3/29/2015 7:06:14 AMSuck it up and agree that we aren't as good as we all want to be so take death as a way of getting better the more you die the more you learn dont be that douchebag that thinks he's the best because in reality you cannot be the best but you can strive to be, if your having a bad game take the time to clear you head and try a new playstyle because that felwinter's sniper isnt doing you good try something else don't sit there like a child whining because you cant kill someone adapt to a new play-style and improve on that play style because there are so many ways to play and win and remember... "Your crushing them... Send them to the forums crying" They will go crying to the forums because they want to be good with their felwinter's sniper because they want to see themselves as the best and they might come across this as you did if you are still reading and take this advice then play some more crucible find a new play style adapt and become better at crucible and its always nice to see a player at the top of the leaderboard not using a shotgun but really different weapons. Just remember to send them to the forums crying! :)

2 RepliesI'm always laughing like a madman or shouting like a Scottish soccer hooligan. I love control, even tho I'm really bad. I think my kd hovers around .8 overall
-
I agree, but I'm still learning how to do some of that. I do know that I will never be bringing Thorn, and probably not Hawkmoon, into pvp. I'm not adding to that mess
