Are you having fun in the crucible?
I think that people just need to get over the fact that they are going to die in pvp. There are so many ways you can die like supers, grenades, melee, snipers, shotguns, gunfights against multiple guardians, and heavy ammo.
It is gonna happen. Get over it!
You have to roll with the punches, accept that you are not immortal.. respawn learn from your mistakes or tip your cap because you get out played. Learn what fights you can come out on top and what fights to avoid. With this attitude you will gain experience and knowledge about the game instead of raging like a 2 year old.
So the moral of the story is to develop your play style, figure out what you are good at and find a class and weapons that best compliments your style. If you join a match and you are getting smashed change your weapon set up or change your play style. Maybe take it slower be less aggressive or just the opposite. Getting killed is a part of the game let it go and make an adjustment.

Always lol the thing is I dont like when your get paired up with a bunch of random people playing against people who are working as a team. That's the unfair part. It happens 10fold in IB but sometimes the team's aren't that good lol

Only in iron banner. I tend to not play much regular crucible unless it's for the invective bounty.

The fun is figuring out ways to counter, mobility is something that gives u an advantage but most never consider. Certain guns are still broken, but matchmaking is also a joke Imbalanced guns make skirmish & clash a complete noobfest with a smaller skill gap >_> most avoid engagements & camp with wack guns like thorns there if u can't figure out how to counter shotguns by now, sumthin is wrong...

6 RepliesNot at all. I rage to much. I can dominate iron banner but then suck in crucible. And besides I went a entire match by only dying in from thorn and felwinters lie. It's the same 4 guns the entire time. No originality.

I've been enjoying it for the most part. As far as dying and losing, I find it's cyclical - sometimes you'll walk over your opponents and sometimes you'll be the door mat. If I have frustration with the Crucible, it's with the lag issues that continue to come up - whether they are accidental or intentional. Watching someone you just shot 10 times wander into a wall unhurt and suddenly you are on the ground and that person is walking away isn't fun.

All the shotguns are draining the fun out of it, tired of being one-shot by blink/shotguns.

Good post. I play crucible mainly for bounties and exotics but it is a lot of fun. I'm getting my buddies to switch over since the only thing we haven't done are the raids. It's a blast.

1 ReplyTo be completely honest, the only part of this game I enjoy is PvP. I find PvE to be no fun and more of a grinding chore. Especially when you already have most of the exotics you want, thats when PvE really loses its luster. To me, video games are fun because of competition, not grinding and random loot drops. But thats why I enjoy games like Madden and Nba 2k, the main focus is competition. I know that makes me different from most of you guys on here who like games along the lines of boarderlands ect...

1 ReplyComing from someone with all the Crota Gear maxed and every exotic (still don't have Fatebringer, Foil, Or Timepiece after 40+ Vault runs but I don't have space in my vault or characters for them anyways) Crucible is where I sink most of my time into these days. It's an extremely underrated game mode and everyone should really give it more credit!

Hate crucible now, it's all the same load outs anymore. Used to like it pre dlc, but now I only grind through it for exotic bounties.

Crucible's a blast. Even when I lose I have fun. In all honesty, its the only thing keeping me playing Destiny.
