You spoiled rich kids.
Been seeing this term thrown out a lip towards current gen owners. Idk about the rest of you dudes, but i work for what I got, always have always will. Overtime hours bought me my X1.

My regular hours afforded me my next gen console lol. Those who can't afford it in two weeks pay need to get a second job, because those 8 hours a week at minimum wage aren't paying for shit other than your drug habit.

The "I can't afford an next gen console" only works for so long. That argument ended was void for about 6 months now. People like to justify all games being made for both systems by saying it's too expensive for them to buy the current gen. However what they don't understand is that tech advances so incredibly fast that it makes no logical sense to keep using old hardware. The consoles are doomed to be thrown aside eventually. If people just kept making games for the older consoles the games themselves would never get better. It's not unfair to leave behind the old tech. Its not the companies trying to push you away. It's the gaming companies trying to keep up with the times. If you don't eventually make the switch, you are simply left behind, that's all there is to it. The 8 year old tech can't be supported forever, it's already reached its limits.

I've have bought my game systems with my hard earned money since Gameboy advance. You don't need to be rich to play. ...but it's getting expensive.

Have two jobs, work 6 days a week, bought the xb1 during Black Friday last year and just recently bought a ps4 last week. Safe to say I worked my ass off for my systems and games. Feels damn good to look at my little gaming center and say "that's right, you earned those"

Who you calling rich, punk? Lol but yea, I used bonus money that I got every week and that paid for my ps4. Felt pretty good using extra money earned not including my normal checks.

5 RepliesI am one of those kids Christmas got X1 ps4 by my mom Gaming PC by my bro he made it I call it emerald my wiiU my dad I buy all of my games by myself but I always get a discount because I buy the Fiji water for my house by my birthday I get 700 bucks which I will buy any new console with seeing that I have all current gen just like my friends Michael Donald Jason all have those consoles and a gaming PC we sold our XL 3ds and 2Ds so we can get our IPhone 6+ so yeah if you have beef blame it on.................minimum wage?

5 RepliesI'm 14, and yes my parents bought me and my brother a PS4. That doesn't mean we're spoiled brats, let alone rich! I know the value of a dollar. I had to babysit 5 days a week for a year to save up for an iPhone 4s. I know that's less than a part or full time job, but it's still something. Not all of us are snobs!

I'm 16 and don't have a job but I have to pay for my own stuff. I'm looking to get a job but can't because I get money from my father being dead (even though I don't get any of it because of my mom). I don't know if I should get a job and say -blam!- the money my mom gets or not. I manage to get enough money from doing stuff or selling stuff to buy my consoles and stuff. Then there's my friend.... He's 14 and lives with his grandparents that buy everything for him. He brags to me and my friend that he gets anything he wants and he gets a car when he's 16. He also once bragged that he gets to live with his grandparents when he's older. :/
