HoW the last chance for destiny?
Explain below why you think this would be Bungies last chance of saving Destiny, or why it's not.

By the way, i have never said that HoW is the last chance, as i still love Destiny.
Edit 2: Now that the raid has been denied, the community is even more tensed to see what the survival/horde mode is like. Has your opinion on the matter changed? Post below!

People crying this early into Destiny's franchise is pretty sad. The two expansions were cut from the main game to give their development team time to create more expansions and possibly start working on a sequel. It is what it is. Take it or leave it.

If it will be similar to ODST Firefight, then it might be better than a raid.....I still want a raid of course but Arena could give us some good long term game-play.

I can't say which way I'll go after HoW but if i quit I'm not gonna come here an announce it or cry the game is garbage. I have a digital copy anyway so I stop after this then I can always come back if they released free content.

1 ReplyIf this is Destiny's last chance in your mind, then you should walk away. The massive changes needed are too much time expect to be addressed in updates. They won't be fixed until Destiny 2... HoW won't save the imbalance of the crucible. It won't change the horrid loot system. It won't change anything but add same old strikes and repetitive story missions

Destiny is a good game overall. There are some aspects that suck but everyone usually doesn't give a shit because they are too busy raiding with their buds.

3 RepliesIf you're waiting for Destiny to get better, just stop. This is it. Activision forced bungie to release a game before it was done. Destiny 2 should be a whole lot better (I'm hoping). But I'm pretty sure this is it for destiny other than a few more raids and strikes.

Im already done with destiny just doing weekly and nightfall missions now dont plan on buying the next games either since by then there will be far better games out

2 RepliesI think Comet: Plague of Darkness will be Destiny's last chance to prove itself to the larger population. It'll be the first expansion on a larger scale than How or Dark Below, and undoubtedly there will be a lot of hype for it. That being said, I don't think Destiny will ever die. "Last Chance" is a bit misleading.

It's a fun game, but it isn't worth the additional cost. If HoW sucks, then most will probably avoid buying comet and other future dlc. So bungie has to ensure they reignite the communities interest on destiny if they hope to keep making money.

They're already deep into development for destiny 2 at this point, so releasing content that was originally slated to be in the original release (TDB and HoW) is somewhat disappointing. I doubt that much will be addressed prior to comet - if then. It's simply more repackaging / editing for continuity of previously unreleased content and bug fixes IMO.

Well, if HoW is good, and refreshing, if it has a decent storyline and cutscenes, that's a start. But I'm not buying into comet as it's last chance because I have no faith in bungie to provide a product I trust. The only way I'm buying comet is if it garners rave reviews [b]AFTER[/b] launch. And not even going to look at any awards it might [i]buy I mean win[/i]. Seriously. HoW would have to be fantastic and nigh orgasmic to change my mind on that.
