In my opinion it's a case by case basis. I have a couple of friends that are technically special Ed, but they function fine in society and do good in school, and will be able to contribute to society, get a job, etc. Then you have special Ed kids that can't function properly in society and can't contribute or maintain a job and hinder others. While we should treat them respectfully and nicely, I believe it's those special Ed kids that should be in their own school, or at the very least be in their own class.
