Exotics that don't live up to exotic status
Are there any exotics that you think aren't worthy of an exotic status? For me I think knucklehead radar for the hunter is pretty useless, a lot of primaries get a third eye roll and with it only affecting primaries I think it's kinda useless. What do you guys think?
Edit: more on the top of the useless list: ahamkaras spine(PvE not PvP), ats arachnid and mk44 stand asides, necrochasm and of course NLB which honestly I believe to be bungie's biggest inside joke.
I play xbox one so I don't know about the PS exclusives but I've heard Monte Carlo and 4th horseman a lot

Hardlight and Monte Carlo even though I really like both of them. I even think hawkmoon could use a little something to put it over the top. Armor piercing rounds or elemental damage or something. It just seems to me that a lot of the exotic primaries are obviously geared towards PvP which is mistake. Exotic primaries should be viable for both game modes

Edited by NateOrb: 3/26/2015 4:49:06 PMTheres a lot that dont really live up to exotic hype but easily the worst is the 4th horseman It doesnt even have an exotic ability and the stats are horrible(even before bungie broke it the stats were bad) The "exotic" ability is just full auto with a different name(supposedly thunderer was supposed to make it shoot 4 shots at once then they decided that was op and just never gave it a different unique ability) Its also just a broken weapon in general People say sometimes the mobile vault just calls it classified and in-game it only displays 1 ability when you hover over it

4 RepliesSuros shouldn't even be considered an exotic anymore since the damage nerf. What was so "exotic" about it was it hit like a rock. Well, now it shoots paper bullets. Necrochasm.... Need I say more? Haha Hardlight needs a stability buff as well as a mag increase.

Pretty much the only exotic weapons I use are Icebreaker and Gjallarhorn. Everything is easily supplemented by an elemental legendary.
