I have 2 different Internet providers, DSL and a wireless hotspot. When Destiny first came out, I played on the DSL. Figured it was better since I had a type 2 Nat, instead of type 3 with the hotspot. Wrong, I got disconnected all the time. At the time I always just thought it was the servers, so I stuck with the DSL. Finally I started playing on the hotspot, and almost all my connection issues went away. This led me to start testing the DSL. All ports were open. I used software to monitor the connection with different loads, never a hiccup. Replaced every piece of equipment. Could never get the DSL to give me a stable connection to destiny, all other games worked perfectly fine. I've been playing perfectly fine for months on the hotspot. I can try to play on the DSL, usually get DC within an hour. Have no idea....

I occasionally get the same problem and so do a lot of ppl I play/used to play with. Something in the coding of the game, same as the losing connection up destiny servers error. It's the only game I play that it does it with. Reset my Xb1, and sometimes it messes with party chat too. Another price to pay for playing this ever growing repetitive low content money pit.

It's your connection

In all honesty it seems like a bit of connection problems on your end, and Id try to improve your connection to your router before quitting. Move your modem/router closer to your Xbox, or use an Ethernet cable to be hard wired into your console.
