I luv doing iron banner! And I got the scout the shotgun the heavy gun. But so frustrating due to I usually go in with full on randoms.... I went in with a 6 man team 15 percent of the time. And god it makes a huge difference having a 6 man team with mics vs 6 random dudes going ape shit lol.

3 RepliesBrought 2 characters to level 4 to get the gear and played about 150 matches in the process. As always it is a very frustrating grind to get done. Only saw 2 exotics drop in all those matches and that was on the last day in 2 consecutive matches. I did get 3 Gheleon's Demise though and they are awesome. There was also too many: shotguns being used as primaries and way too many one shot kills not to be suspicious about that fact. idiots using rocket launchers to kill just one enemy idiots using supers to just kill one enemy idiots running past control zones to look for more kills to pump up their own egos and screw the team. matches where they put you in the middle of a match on a team that is down by 2 or 3 times their score. uneven teams because of awful matchmaking

2 RepliesMy experience wasn't too terrible, but the lag on a few matches was awful. Pretty easy to tell who is manipulating the game after playing it this long. Ah well, they'll get theirs. As for the Felwinter's shotgun parade, it was like Gears of War with the shotty roadie run out there. I tried to keep my distance for the most part and this seemed to work well on the larger maps.

I was able to get to Rank 4, but all I experienced was extreme lag. Sometimes both teams all had red bars. Enemies would walk right past you, invincible, then later kill you after you've shot them up a million times. Even the whole team would shoot at the people running straight by, usually into walls. I've heard some friends talking about lag switches. I don't really know what it is but it's pretty obvious it's something to do with lag. Who else experienced this major lag issue?

Blind Watch Blind Watch Twilight Gap Blind Watch Blind Watch Blind Watch Being sent into game, still flying in ship and hear "5 minutes remaining" Being sent into games where it is 4 v 6 ... There were some fun moments but this IB was the most frustrating. The lag was worst than I have ever seen.

For me it was losing streaks and being first on my team. Lost 7 games in a row like 4 different times.

The map anomaly might be fun for some people, but I think most would admit it was in the rotation way too much. That map is either fest or famine, it came up so much that it basically lowered my overall outlook on this iron banner.

agree, too few auto rifles, too few scouts. Bungie nerfs vs buffs and so now people really only run pulse rifles and hand cannons. they nerfed fusions and now only Plan C performs well meaning everyone runs with shotguns. Didn't have too many randoms vs teams when I played solo, but when I played in a team we played many randoms....

16 RepliesMy biggest issue was shots not registering this ib. In past IB with the lag shots would get registered late. Sure I'd take a death but I'd get credited with a kill also. Not happy but I can deal with a trade. However this ib there were multiple times shots just never registered at all. I'm talking about point blank felwinter shots doing 0 damage. Or unloading half a clip from hawkmoon and doing 0 dmg. It seems to me atleast that each iron banner is just getting worse instead of getting better as far as lag and bugs.

The fireteam matchup is the only one that is annoying to me. Thought they said the matchmaking was supposed to seek out fireteams to play one another. Gear? Everyone can get gear.

2 RepliesAuto rifles now are practically useless, I disagree with the nerf. Because now it's just gonna be dominated by other guns like pulse rifles that got the buff. Hand cannons are still good and can keep up with pulse rifles. So why nerf auto rifles? It's just giving them a huge disadvantage now when all they really needed to do was buff pulse rifles to level the playing field. Yeah I got Suros after the nerf -_-

I agree with the OP... I love using my Thorn though...most of the time my kills aren't from the DoT, I just love the feeling of this weapon - for me its very steady and fun when aiming. Did my headshot bounties with it. Hoz

Then this one game comes in and I can't kill anyone and neither can my team. The enemy team was invincible for all intended purposes. None of us went positive and each of us only managed a few kills.

I don't mind Thorn, Suros, TLW, Vex or Red Death at all. This is Iron Banner, and the most powerful guns deserve to be represented. However shotguns were a little too over the top. Fellwinter's Lie usage was out of control. Also the lag was ridiculous.
