Don't Self-rez Sunsinger Warlocks....
Warlocks.
Word of advice from one to another. I often play as a Hunter, though in the Crucible.
DON'T SELF-REZ RIGHT AFTER GETTING SHOT WITH A HUNTER'S GOLDEN GUN!!!! An experienced player will instantly recognize the sound of your activating Radiance and Fireborn. Which means you will promptly get supered a SECOND time..and the Hunter who does it will be laughing his ass off at your for it.
Had this happen to me twice yesterday. Shot one warlock with a GG right as he was trying to cap Point A on Rusted Land. He goes up in a explosion (Combustion)....THEN SELF-REZS with me standing right there in front of him. So I promptly shot him dead AGAIN.
Second time the victim was a *bit* smarter at Firebase Delphi. Shot him dead with shot #1 from GG, then I shoot a team mate of his with the second. After than he tries to self rez...I hear it....and I turn around and shoot him dead a second time with the third round before taking out another team mate with the fourth one.
Both times I was laughing so hard...I literally had to stop playing for a moment.
You aren't going to win, unless you're lucky enough to have the Hunter run out of GG rounds. Take your punishment like an man and self your super for a moment when it can actually help your team.

1 ReplyFireborn isn't necessarily a bad super for PvE, but 90% of players who use it just activate it [b]immediately[/b] and 75% of them get shut down again. Not just by a Golden Gun. You're not going to get your revenge that way, you're just embarrassing yourself. Just wait a few seconds [b]then[/b] come back spitting grenades like you're Super Mario. It's much more effective than wasting your super and feeding your opponent an extra kill.

If I see a warlock use radiance without dying first, I assume they have radiant skin. When that happens, I treat it like a real super and run for the nearest cliff. Then teabag myself when I respawn.

On the odd time that I actually use sunsunger in PvP I like to use radiant skin instead of self-res, I hate holding onto my super for when i die and actually have someone not waiting for self-res, not worth it.

Best thing I ever saw was a guy miss a jump fall to his doom self revive and fall again. I mean he died twice and I never even shot my gun once.

Self-res warlock once contributed to 2 of my triple kills while in golden gun. Funniest thing I saw in crucible was a titan shoulder charge a warlock start dancing. Warlock self revived, fist of panic and they went back to dancing haha. Use radiant skin and HOPF. Grenades can wipe out a whole team trying to take a control zone.

for the first time last night, someone got me with the Warlock Self Res lol, had to be 1 second left on the auto respawn cause i had forgotten about him haha

Weather I'm super or not I always watch the warlocks for few seconds after I've killed them to make sure they're really dead , most of the time they are

Used radiant skin instead of self res, in opinion I think it's better than self res. u get an overshield and takes people three times longer killin me. But I love my void walker.

Invective cleans up sunsingers and bladedancers, I don't understand them not choosing the extra armor in pvp.

When you first use self Rez as a warlock, you grow a habit to hit it right when you die. A warlock has to break that habit in order for self Rez to be good. Even in PvE
