Stop cheesing the bridge already
Jesus I keep running into groups that are like "shit we don't have a warlock anyone wanna switch characters?" Like no dude -blam!-ing do the bridge legit it's fun and easy as -blam!-. Especially on normal it takes a few minutes. I'm amazed and appalled by the fact that every time I say lets do it legit at least two people ask "how? I've never done it" for the love of God HOW better have no cheeses it's annoying to have people learn to rely on that shit
Edit: I don't need a single thing from the raid. I have every raid weapon and exotic and over 100 radiant shards. People who are playing like they have 30 mins max rushing everything and playing a video game. They're working an extra job. Do it right and have fun

U don't need a warlock, hunters and Titans can jump to the top lol, I can solo the bridge on normal, and I've also did flawless raider on crota with just me and 1 other, end of Crota ain't much fun Now VOG! That's fun

2 RepliesOk, so you think Bungie should change the bridge requirements exactly how? Right now it's that at least 1 guardian get across with the sword and survive and both Ogres die. You think more guardians should be required to stay alive or that they should block a Warlocks self rez ability and prevent anyone from being revived if they happened to die prior to crossing the bridge? How exactly do you think it should be changed so you wouldn't consider it "cheesing"? Because right now it's just a game mechanic with no manipulation.

Did it legit on normal earlier this week. One guy in the group was all "how many warlocks we got?" then another guy said "let's do it legit, its normal." So we did it legit. First attempt get 3 across no problem, set up to get the others across (I was mid). First person comes across, takes some time, doesn't kill the gatekeeper. I'm like "whatever, the next guy will be able to get 2" second guy comes across, uses R1 (RB) to slash at the gatekeeper. Both gatekeepers were still alive, sword disappears. I'm jumping/dancing around 2 gatekeepers to keep the bridge up, last guy gets the sword (he knows what he's doing) 3rd gatekeeper comes out, I continue to jump around. Sword bearer gets across, kills 2 gatekeepers, unable to finish the third (understandable). I run to the staircase for safety, one gatekeeper running around, we kill the ogres. Most fun I've had in Crota's end in a long time. I'm assuming the 4th/5th sword guys hadn't done it legit before. They probably knew what to do though because the cheese requires 1 guy to go across.

I normally always cheese it now however I make sure new players who I'm taking through the raid for their first time know how to do it. It's a lot easier cheesing it that's why people do it. Especially on hard. However I agree doing it legit is a lot more fun as long as you don't have a stupid team who can't do it properly

they should totally patch all the raid cheeses and then release some new CE raid gear so that everybody who can't do it legit has to learn. I don't mind cheesing but some peoples lack of wilingness to even try is annoying

7 RepliesOnly sad nubs need a warlock to cheese it. I've soloed it as all three classes. On hard. Pretty easy to just jump accros with the sword unless your a hunter. The jump for that is tricky. Then just hide behind the rock near the door. Murder the wizard and then shoot the ogres while playing don't touch the floor to keep away from the gatekeeper. Bonus points for making the gatekeeper fall off the ledge.

Literally no one can run it legit. When trying to run the bridge with lfg randoms its actually been so bad I've had to quit and find another group. Like people doing it legit is faster and funner than cheesing get your goddamn shit together

Had this today. Host had a terrible connection so for most of the raid the enemies didn't even attack us. Get to the bridge and only 3 still in it. I got my hunter to the high spot but the host stayed on the bridge plate and we got annihilated. I said "let's just do it legit" after a couple more hunters joined. The swordbearer was always killed before the bridge was half built and the lag meant the 3 gatekeepers I had to kill would go to a sliver of health then teleport and be full health. Still got 2 down. We went to orbit and the host found a full team including a warlock. Cheese time. Would have been quicker to do it legit from the start.

Haha. I've never ran into someone who didn't know how to do it legit. I don't have as much time as I would like so normally just play hm.. I've probably only done it legit 5 times tho
