Stop cheesing the bridge already
Jesus I keep running into groups that are like "shit we don't have a warlock anyone wanna switch characters?" Like no dude -blam!-ing do the bridge legit it's fun and easy as -blam!-. Especially on normal it takes a few minutes. I'm amazed and appalled by the fact that every time I say lets do it legit at least two people ask "how? I've never done it" for the love of God HOW better have no cheeses it's annoying to have people learn to rely on that shit
Edit: I don't need a single thing from the raid. I have every raid weapon and exotic and over 100 radiant shards. People who are playing like they have 30 mins max rushing everything and playing a video game. They're working an extra job. Do it right and have fun

You're forgetting that everyone had to do it legit before people realised it could be cheesed. It's an old raid now and the bridge gives crap rewards, ppl just want to get through it asap and get to crota. If it bothers you that much then just solo it and stop whinging about it!

Cheesing is faster. If someone accidentally Dies or something and the team wipes because nobody realized in time, then it's just wasted time. People just want to get to crota and be done.

Now don't get me wrong my team has no issues running the raid legit but we are all adults living in different time zones with different responsibilities in life, families, etc... so when we do get together to raid we need to get that shit done as quick as possible.

I don't mind doing the bridge legit, it's fun but there are far to many people who don't know how to do it. It's quicker to cheese it than teach people how to do the bridge proper.

The first time I did the raid I had a group that did it legit. After that I'm always in groups that just want to cheese it and it's not so fun. Especially since I'm the warlock and they make me do it.

This might just be me being the impatient player I am but I'm normally running with a different team each week depending on who invites me for the raid and I just don't want to deal with the hassle of it all so as soon as this part starts and we spawn I'm already on the plate spawning everything and killing the swordbearer and before the group even realizes I started it I'm already swinging my way to the other side and telling them to either wipe on normal (let's be honest who as a 32 hasn't done this part solo yet and realized how easy it is) or tell a Titan to start climbing on hard mode since I chill in the safe corner and let others snipe on hard. I might be a bad player for this but to each his own I guess.

I'm just happy there is no death singer cheese, because unlike the bridge, Ir Yut isn't easy if everyone has the lone wolf mentality. Edit: I've even tried to do it legit with a group and had two people basically throwing the game. I saw one guy walk off the edge and the other was atop a rock not holding the plate. I purposely run void walker and refuse to change it because of the cheese.

Really a an adult gamer, time is gold. In the past I be done the bridge plenty of times legit. But like I said time. When you don't have a dedicated group and player with forum people , cheese is way to go especially running 3 characters

Got with a group of squeakers that desperately needed a swordbearer and we're doing a fresh run. I was feeling generous, thought what the hell and went with it. They all died by 3rd lamp and I soloed the lamps. On gatekeeper they immediately started discussing who had Warlocks. I said "No. We're all 32s, all with good weapons. We're just gonna do it legit because you're a pussy if all you do is cheese it." They then began to bitch and complain because 2 of the guys agreed with me and the other 3 did not. After like 3 minutes of fingernails-down-a-chalkboard arguing, I left without even a goodbye. Seriously, Crota is fun as hell on Hard if you don't try to use a bunch of gay ass cheese methods. Same thing with the "get on top" cheese at Deathsinger. I've ran Crota's End solo, and that tactic works wonders. But as a team of 6, there is absolutely no need for that crap.

I join groups from the forums when I raid, so I just do what the group wants to do.

I agree. I love people who want to "save time" in their lives, yet your playing a game not working a job! I feel people may enjoy the raid more if they took it on as a challenge and not a chore. The cheese way of the bridge is just a chore, a series of steps that require little action or excitement. If you want to save time go work on class work, your job, or other things in life that transcend the digital world. Just an opinion, I understand it will be disagreed upon, but at this point I wish more people who try to have fun with the encounters. I don't get the hype about all the most powerful weapons being acquired, just so they can be used to kill level 2 dregs on patrol. Those powerful tools are meant to make the biggest challenges in the game easier and more enjoyable I believe they aren't getting their use of they are simply used for cheesing and the occasional nightfall (likely with cheese).

Does someone really need to explain to you that 1) most people prefer saving time vs doing it legit and 2) you obviously have the cp when all this becomes so painful for you so you can duck out and create your own group and run any strategy you so desire?

I get what you're saying; but after doing it legit plenty of times some people just want to get it done as quickly as possible. If someone on my team wants to do it legit I'll do it, otherwise I just want to move on to the hallway and then Deathsinger.

it's actually faster to do it 'legit' on Normal, on Hard i do not know, i don't play it at all as to me it's not fun - the only times i play Hard CE is when my teammates ask me to do the sword duty for them, and even then i would only join for Crota checkpoint :/

I agree its the best and funnest part of the raid. Recently got in a group had a couple friends and a couple randoms from lfg. We wanted to do the bridge all the randoms had never done it legit and they were all lvl 32 so sad

U don't need a warlock, hunters and Titans can jump to the top lol, I can solo the bridge on normal, and I've also did flawless raider on crota with just me and 1 other, end of Crota ain't much fun Now VOG! That's fun
