I am tired of carrying people in games. The constant pain of collecting medallions over and over again due to useless scrubs. Now, I don't profess to be amazing at PvP as it isn't my sole focus, but I can usually hold my own in a match. What I am finding is the sheer number of clueless -blam!-s who run about capping the nearest point, or rock a 279 damage weapon. Save that shit for normal PvP, don't roll with crap gear, stick to the guns you are proficient with.
Under level 30? Don't bother mate, stick to normal PvP. Don't be afraid to step out of your starting area and actually go on the offensive, or maybe cap B for once? That tent you've pitched in the bushes on Venus isn't helpful. Don't sit at the back of the map with a sniper rifle in the same spot every game and not get a single cap, I shouldn't have to carry you, and if you are near a cliff edge understand this; I will push you off. See that heavy ammo spawn? It isn't all about you, wait for your team to get to you unless the enemy are close.
Basic map knowledge. Most people seem to be about as useful as a chocolate fireguard in this department. Learn the maps, the fastest routes and where the bottlenecks are. You are no good to a team if you don't go out and explore the maps. Use your grenade to funnel players down a different path, and for -blam!-s sake as a Warlock stop using Fireborn. Got a fresh piece of gear from Xur or the Nighfall with no upgrades unlocked? Take that shit elsewhere my friends, Iron Banner isn't the place to make a fashion statement. I know your Praxic Fire looks pretty cool but you don't have the unique upgrade unlocked so GTFO!
Who else feels this way?
Edit 1: Lets vent our Iron Banner hatred and get this trending!
Edit 2: So for this Iron Banner week my aim is the Efrideet's Spear sniper rifle, which has some pretty nice perks as standard. What are you all aiming for this week?

1 ReplySince you obviously understand IB better than most you should win the majority of your games. Afterall both teams deal with what you mention.

1 ReplyEdited by CorvusLumen: 3/23/2015 1:29:37 AMThis is what happens when noobs cap A on this map. Lol funny thing is we started around C and then one noob ran all the way over to a and capped it that's when we started to lose big time and I just said f*** it
-
I just don't get how I usually have over 4000 points and my teammates can't get over a 0.8 k/d ratio. It confuses me every time
-
The later in the week it is the more I notice people focusing on bounties and having fun. Not sure if it's isolated but last IB I had a couple of matches where no one on the team captured zones. So I just had fun that round.

2 RepliesThe problem here is that chat sound is not enabnle by default like COD or Battlefield... if it were at least we could talk to those noobs what to do! so why don't we create a petition to get this done.... honestly i am tired of losing games and not earning any XP so many times due to the lack of communication.

How about we just get a PvE exclusive event to appease us PvE players who don't want to play Iron Banner? I'm sick and tired of grinding Iron Banner every time just so I can get a damn gun that I want. Iron Banner weapons are the only ones that can be re-rolled, and getting any other legendary weapons with upgrades remotely close to what you want is like winning the lottery. The matchmaking in Iron Banner is god awful. I can't even count how many times I have been thrown into a match already underway where my team is being crushed by a full fire team. Either change the game type of Iron Banner, or scrap it all together.

1 ReplyI feel like this. But I have a kd high enough for my opinion to be taken seriously
-
Edited by Swiftlock: 3/23/2015 12:51:12 AMI don't feel this way because I have friends and a clan to play with who have a basic understanding of what to do. You're not going to get far throwing your fate in the hands of randoms.

2 RepliesMultiplayer is full of idiots. Its funny when I grew up MP was fighting games such as street fighter and MK. Now its just a joke where half the users cheat, camp, SK, or just plain out use the easiest op guns to inflate their little egos. Sadly i see most on here who pump their chest about their KD are far below the legal age to do anything beyond ask mommy and daddy for an allowance.

Only map I sit back in the same place and snipe is shores of time. I sit back behind B and C and cover my team while they cap the zones. Also take out anyone coming to those points. Other maps I will run around and use my LDR here and there but not as much

2 RepliesI count to 10 once heavy drops if your not there sorry too bad they announce when it's gonna drop
-
1 ReplyOP is an fgt OT: Raid Scrubs who have never played PVP are always willing to come into Iron Banner and get scraped.
-
Take a team in
-
4 RepliesShit man, can someone tl;dr this?
-
The world is full of idiots, and you're one of them.
-
1 ReplyTotally agree. A little part of me dies when I spawn on a map and I'm the only one heading to b and the rest are 5 manning the start zone :(
-
3 RepliesYour also a scrub use more than one class scrub a dub dub
-
4 RepliesUh I grinded IB from lvl 26 to now at 29 and I'm almost lvl 5 sooooo uh yea under levels don't do damage or help out ??? What!?!?
-
I stopped caring bro. It wasn't good for my health to rage about it.
-
1 ReplyI feel you bro. Its funny when I get around 9000 points and my whole team combined doesn't even have as much points as me. Most ppl are most likely brain dead and have low IQ. My prayers to them.
-
Lol same ill carry asswipes and then i get kicked at the end
-
Also take two points as quick as possible with your team and hold those two. Most teams try to take the third one, where it goes wrong. Defend the two and you'll win. Most people don't know that unfortunetely..

I love facing Fireborn warlocks, so easy to double down
