Auto Rifles
Auto Rifles did not deserve the nerf they were given. It is one thing to tweak something here or there, but what was done accomplished nothing but eliminate an entire class of weapon from competition. In Crucible, they are outclassed at every range by pretty much any weapon in the game.
This is not balance in any form.
Pulse rifles were in general bad and needed a buff.
After the buff I still don't like them. Why? They are boring, do not have any cool sounds, and just don't have the feel I am looking for.
Auto Rifles need more work to at least make them a weapon that can compete with the Hand Cannons, Pulse, and Scout Rifles..

Yeah man agreed. Im naturally a HC guy but i have a few AR i kike to use from time to time and they suck now in pvp and pve

11 RepliesThis is a big problem with destiny. Choosing a weapon class isn't a choice anymore. You choose whatever has been the least nerfed.

First They still can compete you just have to change your playing style. They used to be completely over powers and good at all ranges which is BS you know that. Second of all your only argument can't be they don't make cool noises" like really? Haha wtf. And that's YOUR playing style you have to remember millions of other people play the game. Maybe try and branch out and use other weapons the game provides... Maybe that was bunnies plan they saw that AR's where the only things being used so they nerfed them a bit to level out the playing field. Now that there not completely OP people have to change the way they play the game and that makes them uncomfortable and cry about how "auto rifles are useless now that I can't kill everybody instantly boo hop" like grow up and see things from other points of view.

I said this in another stream, somewhere: a hand held small arms machine gun verses a glorified revolver, who would win in a gun fight? Only in Destiny would the revolver win. I think they've nerfed the heavy machine gun too. Revolvers and shotguns out classing, machine guns and automatic weapons. Scout rifles anyone?
