what is the best weapon you actually earned.
Me personally I would have to say the thunderlord.

Efrideets Spear. Fought hard and earned the glimmer to buy it. Best random drop? Gjallarhorn. Can't say I earned it because random.

I guess the red death, though I don't use it much myself. Just bought it because I felt like splurging. Maybe the thorn. One of those two.

Week 2, Gjallarhorn. I bought the game full price, worked my butt off to get the coins, and was wise enough to realize that an exotic rocket launcher might come in handy. Unlike the... more ignorant people who didn't buy it because... Hell, I don't know why! My three additional Gjallarhorns from random drops were not earned. I just got lucky.
