Gjallarhorn is overrated. Period.
I can't believe the amount of hype there is in the Destiny community about this dumb rocket launcher. There's so many better weapons out there. Take Truth, for example. That rocket launcher fires BLAMMING [b][i]TRACKING[/i][/b] missiles, so you never miss your target! And Dragon's Breath leaves a BLAMMING [b][i]SOLAR FLARE[/i][/b] upon explosion. Anyone who wields a freaking Gjallarhorn deserves no respect in my book - even worse are the people who talk up this gun so much. I'm sick of it.

It is insanely useful!! It's the best raid entry ticket there is. That's about all I use it for lol.

8 RepliesI see your tag and i realize your not serious but Truth is better in most situations especially PvP its the biggest multikill heavy in the game, blasted so many double and triple downs because of the tracking. Gjallahorn has Wolfpack going for it and that's it. I would trade Gjallahorn for Hunger of Crota right now if i could.

But because it can take Crota's shields down in a blink of an eye, it's suddenly over-hyped to the point where if I were to make a forum post titled "Gjallarhorn" and write nothing else, it would be trending. Fact. Now, does over-hyped mean terrible? No. Gjallarhorn is an excellent rocket launcher. Just insanely over-hyped because one boss who stands still and occasionally moves left or right can be domed upon in seconds. Hell, I'd rather have Dragon's Breath over Gjallarhorn because of the solar flare. Gjallarhorn has its uses, just like every other weapon in this game.
