Why don't people raid?
If you're not raiding, explain why not and what are you doing in Destiny. There's not much to do in the game including raids as it is. I'm just curious.
Edit: Seems most don't have a group or found people patient enough to help them through the raids. It's good to see people lending a hand. I just took someone new from this thread through crota last night. He got some good drops and is looking forward to raid some more of. We are gonna do vog as well. simple the raid is not the be all and end all for all players and never will be. For some like to be solo players and you cant really do that in the raids.

No interest in relying on 5 other random people to do a long and tedious mission with fag breaks after every section. I run solo and thats how i like it. I do all other content like bounties, weeklies, pvp etc...a lot of pvp actually.

Because... Raid takes 20 minutes tops to beat in hard Raid is REALLY short and easy All rewards were basically handed out in a yard sale. Question should be: Why would you even want to Raid?

Not to many of my friends raid and lfg is simply not an option for me. Its either you got a Gjallarhorn or your out so I don't even bother.

1 Reply99% of people either have weekly groups or don't want to help new players. There's a growing gap of experience as the ones who do it get better and the ones that don't/can't never learn.

I just did my first two today. It was great, found a guy on the forum willing to help raid virgins. He took me through both. VoG hard then Crota normal. This game is fun again, yay.

Crucible. It's can online shooter. COD seems to do alright without raids.

They really only run the weekly heroic with me, and then it's back on to the crucible. There really are players who just play the crucible. Most of my real life friends just play crucible, and have no desire to raid. They strikes are ok to them, but their attitude is (I've already done that, I don't need to do it again). Grinding for fear just doesn't interest them. They do however like the game and like how it reminds them of playing halo back in the day.

I prefer to game with actual friends of mine as I enjoy the banter,I don't want to go looking for randoms to play with on LFG etc. Unfortunately most of my friends gave up on destiny around November.

Guy. Before I joined a clan. Raiding was such a pain in the ass. Too many losers out there to deal with.

I still love doing public events, daily events, bounties, crucible , ROC strikes, leveling up weaponry and assisting in weekly and nightfall events. Oh, and raids. Love the Tuesday reset and Xur day. You'll be sick of the raids as soon as you have all the gear. Battlefield comes out today so maybe check that out? I will be for sure. Looks different. :) Good campaign anyway.

Honestly I dont like having to use recruitment forums. The fact that I need to use a computer or smartphone to organize a group to raid is ridiculous to me. I begrudgingly use recruitment for NF, don't feel like doing it again for raids.

I love the raids. I didn't have the level or the group to go through then until recently and I enjoy them so much that I made another character just to have more opportunities and ways to run through them. Any mature and pleasant ps4 players who are unable to do the raid due to experience or lack of group are welcome to hit me up and raid with me :) ps4 MonteCristo4673

No group (old one broke up), needs matchmaking (lfg is just as random).

I have friends that got the game day one and still havent tried a raid. They're just to lazy to find a group on the forums but also kinda intimidated. So they just dont bother with it.
