Alex Wilson is seen in a hangar working with a blowtorch and multiple power tools, working on the back of his suit. He is blasting music on his speakers, and welding as Blackjack walks in, in his full combat gear. Finally fixing your little weak point, huh. Wilson turns to him, and takes off his welding mask and turns off his welding tool. Yeah, finally. The damn armor actually had been dented down into the -blam!-in' circuitry. The Tesla generator -blam!-ed up the systems on the inside. Locked the damn armor up. Good. Now I don't have to worry about you getting incapacitated as easily. Hey Firecock got a good -blam!-ing hit. Doesn't matter. You've fixed it now. I heard you earned a little reward from that fight. Yeah, -blam!-in' voodoo rock. Gives me a self revive. PRAISE THE SUN MOTHER-blam!-ER Blackjack sighs, and walks off.

10 Replies*A text file is sent out to all Venom Inc personnel* The final Will and Testament of Kyle Matthew Berrigan If you're reading this, it means Blackjack was right. I made a deal with the devil and I couldn't pay the price. Here I give my remaining possessions to all I worked with. But before I get to it, I say thanks for giving me a home and a purpose. Alright, onto my possessions. To Cobalt, I leave a copy of the A.I. fragment Zeta. I find that you may need him to help run any of your armor's functions more efficiently and he may provide battlefield updates on the go. To Gage, I leave my workshop outside my hut. It has everything you need to help improve and create new gear. To Venom Schrader, I leave all my life's work. You will receive a folder of files that contains all my weapon schematics, armor schematics, and even a little extra. To Stinger, I leave Missouri's rifle. I've never seen anther quite like it. .50 caliber, 14 round mag, and iron sights linked to your HUD for optical zoom if needed. To Helix, I leave my Invisibility Module, Strength Module, and Jetpack module. I've modified them to fit your armor, use them well. And finally, to Blackjack, I leave my apologies. I thought I could handle Apophis, and I was wrong. You get to say I told you so. If you want it, I also left a surprise for you in my Hut. This is Kyle Berrigan, signing off for one last time.

In the building deep in the base, Schrader sits sipping coffee and reading through reports on recent actions and events. A sudden ring if his phone breaks his concentration. Looking towards the phone, he presses the speaker button, and is greeted by a rather... Enthusiastic voice. Eddie.... Eddie... Let me in dammit... Sighing, Schrader pressed a button under his desk as the door to his office unlocked, and Courier Six walked in, in full gear. Did you hear that bullshit spiel from the Monarchy?! I thought I was a cocky bastard, but shit... They are confident, and they should be. Remember, Alexander, this is not just June we're dealing with. They've got much in their favor. If they're all like her, this will just be a matter of proving them wrong and pissing them off. I doubt they all behave like she does. Do all of you behave as I do? Hey hey hey I ain't your dog of war. I'm here because Wolfie wanted intel. I didn't drag my ass out of the desert again to help some businessman. Don't paint it so harshly, Alexander, but don't forget, Wolfe isn't the one who runs the company. I am.

1 ReplyFurther into the base was a large bunker halfway into the side of a mountain, like the one used by Red Skull in Captain America. A large runway and hangar were housed inside, extremely well-guarded, as well as a large office and penthouse above. The office was lavishly furnished, expensive paintings, exotic plants, and a large mahogany bookcase full of books. Several chairs were situated in front of a large desk, behind which was a large swivel chair. A bottle of Crown Royale and two shot glasses lay neatly on the table, along with a tablet and a neat pile of papers. A small mug on the desk contained several pens of varying types. Next to it was a phone. In the chair, sat none other than Edward Venom Schrader himself. He was wearing his typical white pinstripe suit, neatly ironed and immaculately clean. His aviators lay in his breast pocket, an eyepatch was over his right eye. His hands were clasped together as he looked out the massive bulletproof plexiglass windows, smiling as he watched the typical activity on base. A sudden message came across his phone. Sir, may I speak to you? Of course, Ms. Carter. Come in. He swung himself around in his chair, looking towards the door. Within moments, Ashe Carter entered, in her trademark black suit and pumps. So what's the occasion Ms. Carter? Care for a drink? He gestured towards the bottle. No thank you. I wanted to speak to you about Wolfe and Wilson. Why so, my dear? You know how I feel about them. They're brash, and they seem to be rather keen on dealing with the Monarchy. Why shouldn't they be keen to do their jobs, Ms. Carter? Was it not the Monarchy that refused my offer of a partnership and attacked our base? Sir, I feel as if one of them is going to take rather risky action. My dear, General Wolfe is not one to take risks with low payouts. Wilson has been duly warned and informed of what he can and cannot. Wolfe's got control of his pack. What makes you so sure? Trust me, Ashe. I've known Cody for a long time. He's not one to befriend many people, and for him to befriend that Courier, he's got an immense trust in him. But why? We've reviewed Wilson's history in the area. He's a loose cannon. A very powerful, experienced loose cannon. Tis better for him to be with us than for him to have refused to come back at all. Why take the risk when you could send in mote trustworthy assets? Because most of my assets haven't fought such enemies before. Wilson has, he knows what to expect. How can you be so sure? What if things have changed? He is still useful, much like Torrez. He can fight, and he will for the right price. Ashe sighs, upset. Please, Ms. Carter, set your animosity and distrust aside. These men have proven themselves time and time again. Yes, Mr. Schrader. Is there anything else you need to speak of now? No. Good. Please dear, have a bit of faith in me. Nodding, Ashe Carter walked out of the room. Schrader turned around, continuing to watch out over the base.

3 RepliesEdited by Trashcan Jesus: 7/12/2015 9:38:14 PMBlackjack and Wilson continue to talk in the quonset hut. Blackjack pulls a cigarette from one of the pouches on his bandolier, and a lighter from another. Lighting the cigarette, he takes a drag. You know, I brought you here as an advisor. I've placed a good bit of trust on you. So I think it's time you advise. Wilson laughs. I already have! You wanted my thoughts, I gave 'em to ya. And I've already told you you've got a set of confines to work with as well. Wilson gets off the table, and walks over to the fridge, leaning on it. Well then, what do you want? I need to know just what the hell we're fighting. Well, I'll be honest. I have no -blam!-in' clue about this Monarchy shit. Belicose and Ireton were the only two I'd ever dealt with. Ireton's the one these guys want. But you don't want to hand him over. He's quite the tactical fighter, and he's got an inner demon like them. Bellicose is a problem, though. She's a manipulative bitch. She'll play your mind and trick you into something you never saw coming. I would say be careful with your emotions, but, uh, I've honestly never seen you show any. Just make sure you avoid eye contact. Because we've got neural implants and Cin's chemicals, we're good, but uh, she's got some voodoo mind control shit... Your regular soldiers, I don't know, get Cin's chemicals around. She seemed more focused on the head honchos, though. Like I said, I have no idea about the rest of their goons. I'd assume they're as bad as her if not worse. The one, Hecate, is just like Ashe. Stealthy assassin. Dante is a poisony-illusion kind of guy. Siris is a pyro like Firecock. The princess seems like she's on her high horse, needs kicked off and dragged through the dirt. Holy shit I never too you for a tactician. you're smarter than I thought. Surprising, right? I actually pay attention to shit... I enjoy living, so that's kind of a necessity. So this is just another group of gods to kill? That's what it looks like. Guess we've got to undermine their complex, then. I have no -blam!-in' clue what that would do... WAIT WAIT, that's what Felix did with Bellicose. He showed her that her powers didn't have an effect, she went batshit and got sloppy. So play with emotions, undermine what they think? Boomdiadda.

12 RepliesEdited by Trashcan Jesus: 7/12/2015 5:20:35 AMBlackjack appears outside of his quarters on the base. He pulls out a keycard and swipes it on the door, allowing him entrance to a quonset hut. He walks in, and turns the lights on to see Wilson sitting on his table, helmet off, smoking a cigarette. The hell are you doing here? Been lookin' all over for you, figured I'd swing by. You really are a difficult one to track. What do you want, Alex? I want to talk about what you did in Taeda. Why? The -blam!-ing consequences, duh. What do you mean? What they'll do. Explain. You just went in to take casualties. You didn't go to solve the problem. If you did, you'd have put all your firepower on the palace. Nuke 'em to shit. You've given them time to build up, and they damn sure will. They're not stupid. Blackjack slides his mask off after releasing its locking system, and sets it on the table. His hair is just shorter than shoulder length, and he sports a 5 o'clock shadow. A deep set of scars run down his cheek, his complexion is tan, his eyes brown, an emotionless expression on his face. It contrasts with Wilson's gruff beard, scars all across the face, and shorter, darker hair. Wilson bears a grin across his face. You don't understand the consequences of doing that here. This isn't your wasteland, you're not the most powerful entity here. The use of such weapons would draw immense hatred of the company, we'd loose both business and respect. As much as I've contemplated that, the consequences are not worth it. Wilson retains his smile. -blam!- their respect, -blam!- what they think. Solve the problem, Wolfie. I am. I'm just playing my cards close to my chest.
