2 RepliesDestiny's story is not better than anything I did some research and destiny originally had a completely different story. It was actually very good and complete; but the writer left in 2013 and for some unknown reason they took most of it out. Leaving with this terrible, vague, cut-out version of the story. Thats why it seems so horrible. For example, the guardians were originally bad and the speaker and traveler were just bullshitting you and the entire city for years. Now its possible that they took the parts out and are just going to sell them in the future, but i mean- really? Why the -blam!- would i do that if we were already going to get it? Ok now most of you wont read this, comment, like it, show your friends, something that that will get bungies attention so that they know that we know

You decide which one. Edit: It has since dropped to six percent ( praise The Lord!), which means some of those people actually grew brains or people with preexisting brains commented.

Who really cares about story anyway? Its only good for first run-through. And besides, if I want to watch a story via cut scenes, I'll go watch a real cut scene driven thing called a "movie" or TV show...

Destiny has a great story buried beneath the lore. It's on the same level of grimdark vastness as Warhammer 40k. You can expand the story in your mind a la D&D and enjoy they openness of world while you play.
