Literally no motive to play this game anymore
It's more than annoying putting in 600 hours, dedicating more time than anyone should and getting smacked in the face week in and week out. How is it that people can get 5 Gjallarhorns and then I can't even get one. Same with the other 3 guns that I need. I've lost all my hopes for getting anything else that I need and I don't even feel like trying at this point. Chances are I'll just get nothing or get my 10th dragons breath. You know it's bad when the nf and raids start feeling like chores and then coming out empty handed when someone just got a 5th suros that they don't even need. I'm taking a break from this game

I completed two nightfalls yesterday, 9 Strange coins Helm of Inmost Light (already have) Other guy got a his 3rd suros and sharded it, and at the start of the strike I said that was the gun I wanted. That's RNG I collect VOG weapons and armour that's what keeps me going berries I start Crotas End. I only need Vision of Confluence to complete everything and then on to Moon Raids

1 ReplyI'm stuck getting the same 4 exotics time and time and time again. I have received 3 truths, 3 icebreakers, 3 4th horsemen, 2 suros, 2 don't touch me's This all makes up atleast 10 of the last exotics I have received.

2 RepliesThan you aren't playing the game for the right reasons. Ghorn isn't all there is in destiny, I still don't have one and have played since day one but I still enjoy completing the nf and weeklys. Regardless of the outcome it's the surprise at the end that keeps me going. It's an mmo you can't get upset when something doesn't randomly choose to show up only push on and keep trying.

What about fun? I love getting into good raid groups thy don't take it too seriously.

Edited by cq13: 3/10/2015 11:14:29 PMIts not that serious i dont even use it anymore because hunger of crota is more then enough and saves a exotic slot. Exotic primarys are where its at right now. Either red death, thorn, hawkmoon, suros all great guns. Back when ghorn reigned supreme there was no other rocket launcher that had tracking and clusters. Most exotic primarys were shit. So you either used ice breaker or ghorn. Present day destiny is way different then destiny in november.

1 ReplySounds like you need a break. Seriously. I don't understand how you can put 600 hours into a game and the whole eperience is bad for you because one gun hasn't dropped. I don't have the Gjallarhorn, but it doesn't make me hate this game. I beat stuff without it. NBD.

2 RepliesRemember those days, were actually being able to play a video game was a reward in itself? You don't NEED any weapons. Just find out what you enjoy doing in this game and do it. Don't worry about completing everything every week, that will drive you crazy. Just be glad you can spend the time to play. I know I am.

Welcome to 2 months ago, I enjoyed Destiny but it didn't last as long as I thought it would. I'm looking forward to Destiny 2 and The Division now.

3 RepliesI wonder if bungie is noticing the uptick in these types of threads and comments? I'm with you. Lost all motivation to continue playing this game. Might come back for HoW, just to see what I paid for. But hopefully the other games that are on deck will finally give me something to play other than this endless grindfest.
