1 Replyi always use my warlock after i run the raid once, normally for fun oor to help out friends. What i do for the exotic chest is [b]EVERYBODY[/b] opens the spirit bloom chesticle. Nobody opens it until we are all there. (Duh) I turn on [i]Song Of Flame[/i] Grenade/gorrila smash/slam dunk/Bubble boi/rocket shitstorm the chest and somebody gets an exotic. Never has it failed me. This is what [i]I've[/i] seen. 1 Speedy tool 3 BALLAH!horns 2 Cotton cannons 1 Red Meth 2 Ice Ships and 1 Troof Ive only just started this strategy a few weeks ago.

Opened it last week and picked up Gjallahorn at the exotic chest. The week before, I opened did the same thing, but picked up the last word.

3 RepliesIf you teabag the spirit bloom chest before you open it, there is a 3% increase in exotic drop potential from the gorgon chest. Don't believe? Check my hunter and titan.

I hate it when people say don't open it. I know it doesn't make a difference but in the past I've just not opened it, it's not worth getting them angry. But from now on I'm opening it, if they haven't figured it out by now they shouldn't be raiding.

I always do that. Especially when people are like. WHY DID YOU DO THAT WE WON'T GET EXOTICS. Last time I did it, I got MIDA.

20 RepliesHere's the thing, I don't believe the myth about that chest bugging other chests in the raid. The problem I have with people who open it is just: why? Spiritbloom is cheap from the vanguard and free on the planets surface. Are you so idiotic that you don't know how to acquire Spiritbloom any other way?

1 ReplyI feel like people have got this backwards. If you keep the Templar from teleporting, there is a secret chest that spawns. People have told me if you open the spirit bloom chest it sets a 2 minute timer off for the chest you made spawn. After those 2 minutes the chest disappears.
