Items lost in vault?
I recently lost my Word Of Crota hand cannon while switching it to the vault using the mobile app. Is there any way to get it back?

Unfortunately, Bungie does not replace lost or dismantled gear for any reason. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12211

Thankfully I haven't had that problem yet. But I've certainly heard the horror stories.

Unfortunately, it's gone. Bungie can't restore lost items. https://www.bungie.net/7_I-accidentally-dismantled-an-item-I-wanted-to-keep/en/Help/Article/12211 (article title says "accidentally dismantled" but it applies to glitch lost items too) As with any new feature, there are bound to be bugs. Use at your own risk. Some people have had items reappear in their inventory some time after being lost during transfer due to lag. Hopefully that happens to you. If not, good luck getting another one.

Please follow the steps below. 1- go to orbit 2- log out 3- log in and check your inventories and vault 4- let us know if you've found it.
