32s...Do you Run crota once on hard? or do you do normal first?
Im still very confused about the loot tables. I just completed normal with my hunter and got the gear i needed for 32.
With my warlocks who are 32, do you suggest hard mode only or both?

I always run normal first. Don't usually run hard at all anymore, cause I have all the drops from that mode. I would like two more Black Hammers though, and normal Crota is still fun. So I usually run three of those, occasionally one or two hard modes if my friends feel up to it.

If You have all the gear from normal (weapons & armor except the helmets) then Yes just Hard :-)

I just do a run on hard since I get double drops if I don't run normal.

Haven't run normal since hard dropped same with vog, once I hit 30 it was goodbye to normal. Was only able to reach 30 on one of the 3 chars before dlc probably never would have without the aetheon push glitch rng blessed me with a warlock helm for that. Crota gear is much easier to get. I dont see the point.

I do a full Normal run x3. Then I do HM Crota CP x3. All I want are the exotics, I have everything else.

I run normal then hard. It provides 2 chances per character for Exotic drops at Crota. Every single fireteam of 6 that I have completed Crota with has come away with at least one exotic each run. So I take my chances with 6 runs instead of 3. It has worked too.

I go str8 to hard, saves on time.

If you do hard first each section will reward you the normal mode loot and the hard mode loot Armor drops on both normal and hard Normal gives 2-3 shards/energies per section Hard gives 2-3 shards/energies per section So if you do hard first you get both rewards (4-6) energy/shards Abyss Normal - gloves / shards / energies Hard - gloves / over soul edict / shards / energies Bridge - Normal - chest/boots / shards/ energies Hard - chest/boots / abyss defiant / shards/energy Chests and Ir Yut can only be gotten once no matter the difficulty Crota Normal - all special/heavy weapons / helmet / shards/energy / ship / shader Hard - fang/WoC / crux of crota / helmet / shader / ship / sparrow / energy/shards Possible exotic at both Deathsinger and Crota regardless of difficulty Shaders/ships are different versions on the difficulties The list is all possible drops Basically you get 2 drops on normal and 2 drops on hard If you do hard first you get both sets of drops If you do normal first you get normal drops then hard will only give hard mode drops Hope that clears it up some
