Stupid ass "Elitist" 32's
I remember when I was one of the first level 30's. I wasn't a rude stuck up snob about it and helped everyone I could through the vault on hard and nightfall. I took a break for a few months, get back on and can't find help for shit. And why? Because now you can buy your way to 30 and anyone that's 32 are too good for anyone that's not. What happened to this game?

Edit 2: if you obviously know you're not a douche bag level 32 and genuinely help people out, I'm not talking to you. If you couldn't figure this out, my bad. I'll explain better next time I guess.
Edit 3: Im happy to see a high amount of helpful people on this post. There is still those stubborn people but the greater good is shining through. Faith in humanity restored a little bit.
Edit 4: I was recently informed that my title was a bit off putting towards the good hearted individuals that are level 32. So my apologies to any level 32's out there I may have offended. The new title fits the post much better now I think.

There are "good" 32s out there. I myself like to help out anyone who needs it. I am by no means the best player in destiny (far from it) but I know the raids/srrikes and how to beat them. If you need help on ps4, send a message to me and I'll help out when I'm on next (psn=msubobcats87). Sorry you've met the bad 32s in the past.

5 RepliesI've noticed a lot of the 32's that won't run with anybody except other 32's aren't that skilled. Run a bunch of weekly/nightfall strikes with them and a bunch of raids, and they just aren't that great, no tactics, not team players, super tense and quick to blame. Then you go run with some guys who'll take 31's or 30's through the raids and strikes and they're a lot more chill, seem to work better as a team, pretty much the opposite. Of course these are generalizations, plenty of exceptions to what I'm saying, but from my experience that's what I've noticed.

Pretty sick of hearing everyone complaining no one will help them. No one helped the first 32's to 32 they did it themselves. I have no problems helping out lower levels and usually have 30's and 31's with me in HM but all this stuff about not being helped ( read as boosted and carried ) is crap. We need a new title. Sick of all the whinging 30' and 31's complaining the 32's that put the time in to be 32 wont boost these guys. ( this isn't a direct attack at you I don't know what you have experienced in your travels but this is just generalizing at the typical 32's wont help me to 32 post ) Out of curiosity as a 30 what do you need help with? As a 30 the next step is buy 31 so farm VG or PVP marks and buy it. Level it up to 31 and do normal crota. 31 is where most people got to before hitting crota. Do normal crota for a few weeks get the gear and level it. Now you're 32. I don't understand why anyone needs help. I'm currently helping my brother get to 27 so I can drag him through normal crota to try and get the gear to get to 32. I'm helping him skip the whole 27-30. This is boosting. 30-32 is boosting. You shouldn't ask randoms to help you boost. If you are getting people saying they wont do the nightfall with you because you're 30 then they're idiots. 30 is fine for nightfall. Even normal crota raid 30 is fine but I can understand why randoms would look down at having a 30. 31 does more damage and takes less. Without knowing the player these are huge things to take into account. Just put the time in and get yourself to 31. You'll be much more useful and find it easier to get normal raid. Then get your 32 gear level it and then you can help as many level 30's boost to 32 as you want.

Idc about levels. When people start joining with unmaxed weapons.... That's when I begin the booting. Getting 32 requires more than just what you put into the game. You have to be lucky and receive the drops. Maxing a weapon, however, can be done without having to worry about rng and the like

1 ReplyI am one of the raiders which makes sure to have at least one lvl 31 in a hard crota fight, I've even carried lvl 30's through with some really awesome teammates. Thanks for editing this. At some point I realised there is more value in getting lower levels through raids instead of maximum leveled ones. This actually made me play the game from the perspective of fun haha. Think of it my fellow 32 guardians, if you were stuck at lvl 31, would you like to be excluded?

3 RepliesI've been level 31 for weeks. I have no intention of levelling up to 32 until I am good and ready. Level 32s just run round aimlessly from planet to planet. Desperately searching for fabled weapons and imagined glory. They grind in the mistaken belief that there is more. When in fact there is. NOTHING.

Join a clan play with like minded people no more dealing with dickheads.... Destiny becomes a hell of a lot better that way

1 ReplyI spent the last 8 hours, helping people complete Crota on normal, and VOG on hard for the first time, with a friend. Its 3:40 am where I am, and I'm ready for bed. On top of that, I received nothing in return, as I had completed both Raids. I also have 3 32's Hunter Titan Warlock Personally, I don't mind helping a friend of a friend to do a raid or a nightfall, but I have played since the Alpha, and I have done, and gotten almost everything I can possibly get out of this game. So please, don't assume all 32's are jerks. truth is, you do something enough, and even being nice brings a sour taste to the mouth. When the first 32's were in the game, they were always helpful, now everybody has run it and done it...over and over and...well you get the point. Give it some time.

There is still plenty of helpful people around. Within 48 hours of deleting my hunter and creating a titan I finished the nightfall, weekly, VoG and crota and got to 31. Thanks to a bunch of helpful people.

7 Replies32 Elitist here. Don't believe me? I'll leave a link below. Guess what, I was amongst the first 30's as well and helped people out left an right. You know why? Because you could only buy your way up to 27. 28's and 29's completed the raid multiple times to get past 27 and had a general understanding of the raid on hard. Want to know why I'm a bitter, mean ole elitist now? Its because you can buy your way up to 31 and claim that you have experience in the raid just because your a vanguard wh0re. 31's are the reason I have lost faith in people lower than 32's. 32 means that you completed the raid enough to get shards to upgrade your raid gear with the special material obtainable ONLY from the raid. Do I wish there was other ways to get radiant materials? No. You should learn to raid just like everyone else had to. Don't join my game with all vanguard armor, up for anything, trolley problem and one way ticket expecting to land yourself a completion. It won't happen. So to sum it up, 31's are a liability while everyone else (us 32's) are trying to have a worry free, smooth raid. We shouldn't have to keep tabs on the fragile little 31 in the corner with longbow synthesis trying to take down a yellow bar knight. I'm a 32 and I'll run with lower levels as long as I need to do that particular raid/nightfall etc and they pull their weight. Anyone wants to add me on ps4 feel free
