Stupid ass "Elitist" 32's
I remember when I was one of the first level 30's. I wasn't a rude stuck up snob about it and helped everyone I could through the vault on hard and nightfall. I took a break for a few months, get back on and can't find help for shit. And why? Because now you can buy your way to 30 and anyone that's 32 are too good for anyone that's not. What happened to this game?

Edit 2: if you obviously know you're not a douche bag level 32 and genuinely help people out, I'm not talking to you. If you couldn't figure this out, my bad. I'll explain better next time I guess.
Edit 3: Im happy to see a high amount of helpful people on this post. There is still those stubborn people but the greater good is shining through. Faith in humanity restored a little bit.
Edit 4: I was recently informed that my title was a bit off putting towards the good hearted individuals that are level 32. So my apologies to any level 32's out there I may have offended. The new title fits the post much better now I think.

3 RepliesI help lots of people, who deserve to be helped. Scrubs like you who generalize an entire level cap of the game, deserve exactly what you get. Silence in your lobby. It would be someone like you who would get backpacked and then have the nerve to complain about rewards.

5 RepliesEdited by ArchAng3l412: 3/1/2015 3:08:19 PMIn all honesty I go by grimoire score with the lvl 32. Here is why I've been seeing a lot of 1900-2000 grimoire score lvl 32s. Now why is that well rng blessed them with raid gear or the iron banner helped. Either way when it came to the raid with lower grimoire scores I found more wipes and the sword bearer being really arrogant. Find a team with grimoire 2400+ with being lvl 32 your chances of team work being used increase dramatically. For one they were probably around for the vog with templar being pushed off so they won't forget the heavy ammo synthesis. And two they want to kill crota and won't be screwing around when it comes to defeating him. If you use middle strategy it should go like this sword bearer , crota kneel (2), go in left side because crota goes right. Crota goes back to mid you run back to mid. Kill the sword bearer take crota down as much as you can without enraging him. And head into ogre room on the right side. Kill the ogre in the room once he spawns, snipe the other ogre coming from the opposite side then run up the stairs avoiding the enemies. Wait in the room for crota to go from mid to right back to mid. Kill the sword bearer get crota enraged and finish him. That's how it should go within 3 swords some can do it in 2. All depends on your sword bearer. But again as I said people with lower grimoire scores even though they are lvl 32 they tend to mess up a lot.

1 ReplyIt's why I sometimes feel ashamed of being a 32 because others are too stuck up. But then again it's the only way for others to stand out as a 32 since we're all the same in the end.

Community went down the drain a long time ago. There are way too many elitist, entitled 32's. I don't see why me being 1 level higher than someone else makes me any better to be honest, besides having more survivability in Crota HM, but even then I did it with a 31,so it's all pointless really.

I try and post raid groups welcoming anyone regardless of level of exp... You get a few boneheads sure, but for the most part it's a lot of good people who genuinely want to learn, or just haven't gotten the drops. It's fun lending a hand!

What annoys me more is when people make demands when they don't meet them themselves. Then they're like of I've killed Crota on hard? Oh, YOU killed Crota on hard, not you and 5 others?

2 RepliesNo no no, wait! I was a 30 before the DLC too and I was a helper, a kind Guardian willing to get others through missions and junk. I am still that Guardian (though I am now 3 Guardians) I'd happily help you get back to the top. Don't worry about all the baditude (that's bad attitude) guys saying 31s are scrubs and that they're the best; 32 isn't the same as the old 30, lots of rubbish players now have 32s. Ignore the dickheads, we have plenty of good guys in here :)

Im helpful when I can be! i think the reason you see this is that Crota was much easier to glitch/cheese through the raid, so there are lots more unskilled/ignorant players with the 32 level. Players who feel they are owed the level, but didnt work for it the same way. Most of these players are also probably alot younger, and put more stock into a character level in a video game.

I'm pretty helpful when people ask me to do stuff with em, I mean I won't do a raid a bunch of times In a row on my 32 but nightfall, weekly heroic , etc....

Im 32 with 3 characters and I help out as many people as I can so much I miss out on doing my own bountys and daily strikes. Don't tar everyone with the same brush.

1 ReplyThank you for editing your Post. I have 3 32s and I've done every raid and every nightfall this reset multiple times to get exotic sail boat fuel just to help a friend of a friend get through said activities. We're not all bad I promise.

Ignore the people don't help you and thank the ones that do. They're are plenty 32s willing to help, you just can't get butthurt over the ones that don't. It's their game, they'll play how they want. I asked around on the forums for 10 minutes and found someone that would carry my 29 through the first two parts of Crota. Got my Titan greaves.

All 3 of my characters are 32, and I will happily re run the raid or nightfall with my mates just for the lols, even tho I know I'm not getting physical rewards. Helping my friends get better or stronger is rewarding enough!
