Finally got the MIDA's touch!
After months of trying to find a way to get it. And months of work, I have finally pulled it off of the ROC strike. I just decided to post this because I almost cried after seeing it. TT~TT Anyone else get their dream weapon when they least expected it?
Edit: Wow. 50 replies. I just pulled Vex out of VoG. Now I just need to finish crota on hard. I got all the way up to crota! >.<

I got MIDA from a legendary engram back in November and Hard Light from Roc about a month ago. Those were my most unexpected drops. Ice Breaker was my most exciting Nightfall drop in January until I got Thunderlord the following week.

I finally got the Gjallarhorn:') I guess i missed a legendary engram when i was grinding my bounties and it turned up in the post master, it was a heavy, i laughed and thought haha this may be the engram that gives me the gjallarhorn.... The 3 yellow spinning diamonds pop up as the weapon come into view, the grimoire for the gjallarhorn goes across the bottom of the screen I freaked out, this week me and my friend combined got every exotic heavy that can drop

2 RepliesI had been doing Strikes and Raids trying to get Mida. On Friday night after a group of us flamed out on the Gatekeepers at 1am we had a guy leave so we did Crota on easy with 5 guys. We flew through the Abyss, swept passed the bridge and shriekers with no one getting anything of importance we came upon the Deathsinger, on our first we bombed. Second attempt and we have defeated the two Wizards and the Shriekers, and two of us are still standing. I popped Ir Yut with a couple of missiles and readied Ice Breaker. With my Don't Touch Me gauntlets making me invisible as a thrall swipes at me I measure a couple of headshots and Ir Yut drops. As we all watch with baited breath it flashes BRC37 received MIDA Multi Tool. It was a wonderful moment for a casual player.

Congrats! I actually just got mine yesterday from nightfall! Glad to see another enthusiast of this gun, people don't give it the credit it deserves. Keep on rocking it, my fellow wielder of the mighty MIDA!

Congrats. It is a FANTASTIC weapon. Very capable gun in nearly any situation you are in. One of the top scout rifles in my opinion. Good pull!

I got Gjallarhorn from a purple engram picked up while doing patrols on Venus. I could not believe my eyes when the cryptarch decoded it into a gjallarhorn instead of ascendant energies!

Got the ghallarhorn from the nexus last week, when I was thinking, oh i bet it would be pretty cool if I got the ghallarhorn, then as we kill sekrion, I organize my inventory, and my friends start screaming "AMERICAN GOT THE GHJALLARHORN! " and I totally lost it.

I was going to dismantle it couple weeks ago but i kept it. Im glad i kept it because 1. Warlock max agility with mida(mida perk) made me run faster/fast as a hunter very reliable in crota lantern run 2. The sound when you shoot is bloody sexy 3. High precision shots damage 4. Radar stays active(useful in pvp) 5. Makes pvp players flinch The gun is just marvelous and rare! Deffinetly worth the upgrade if its put in the right hands for the right players elsewise its not a weapon for the lowlings.

Mida's one of my favourites - enjoy! Was pretty excited when I got Hard Light from an engram for levelling the cryptarch (always wanted to give it a go). I've had Truth and Monte Carlo since from nightfalls, and wasn't as excited about them - but damn if they aren't fine weapons too.

20 RepliesMida sucks and isn't worth the exotic slot. Neither is thunder lord, Universal Remote, invective, super good advice, no land beyond, and hard light. Plus some others. The ones you really want are mythoclast, icebreaker, red death, suros regime, and Gjallarhorn. When you get those, your freak out will be 10x worse than it was with mida.

Yep got hawkmoon when I spawned in halfway thru valus being dead. Not this week btw. It was in early january
