The Unspoken Code Of Iron Banner
1. If you're a scrub, don't play Iron Banner. It's unfair to your teammates to have to carry you game in and game out.
2. If you're under level 30, you better be -blam!-ing good.
3. Don't use the McDonalds connection from 3 blocks away.
4. Use your primary for at least 1 kill per match.
5. Thorn is for pussies and bad kids, but we can't stop you from using it.
6. See rule 5, replace thorn with any fusion rifle (yes, including Vex)
7. The machine gun headshot bounty is there for a reason. [hint, hint]
8. Stop camping, you're probably just hurting your team by spawn trapping them.
9. No T-bagging. It's discraceful and disrespectful to your fellow guardian.
10. Don't quit. Quitting not only proves that you're trash, but can screw your team over, and that's not fair to them.
11. (Optional) Play with a fireteam! Playing with your friends can boost your morale and ultimately lead to better play, and a better experience.

But once u get a fireteam it changes so much. Tbaging should also be allowed when the other person is asking for it. Example: titan bubbles. Yeah not following most of these. I play how i want. Vex mythoclast is not the best auto rifle for IB so get over it. Ur the same type of person who probably states that sniping is camping. Play ur game and let others play theirs.

Iron banner is for higher level players to use the weapons/gear that they have spent hours grinding to get and give them an edge for all those hours of play time. So I would use whatever stuff I wanted. Its also there for the people who dont raid and want level 32 gear. So if they dont have level 32 gear then they are gonna be a lower level. Just dont play it if it bothers you. Go back to crucible for a level playing field. Just my opinion

There is only one rule: don't post stupid crap telling other people how to play the game. But seriously here's one that SHOULD be noted: When Heavy Ammo spawns, GO GET IT. But don't grab it immediately if you've got teammates nearby, wait for them so they can get heavy ammo too. The team that grabs heavy ammo together is usually the team that wins in Iron Banner.

I play to win, so I'll use whatever lets me get the kills. It doesn't do the team any good to use weapons I am sub-optimally skilled in playing. You can play by your own rules. I play by the rules of the game.
