15 RepliesNo, heres why: The earth turns at an axis in an orbit around the sun, when we (i live in canada) turn away from the sun, its still shining in say, russia. The sun does NOT turn into the moon, the moon is a big hunk of rock that orbits us. So no, we will never be able to land on th sun, if it died out (meaning running out of hydrogen atoms) it would either supernova (huge explosion) or turn into a black hole, which is something so dense, not even light can escape its gravity, meaning we wouldnt be able to land on that either. Also, the sun is a mixture of gases that keep exploding and forming but will eventually die out. Even if we invented some sort of spaceship thats immune to heat, we'd simply pass right through it. You're welcome
