to the people thinking xur isn't selling heavy due to bug...
I'm making this post because I'm seeing a bunch of people saying that xur isn't selling heavy due to the heavy ammo bug. I would like to state that in my opinion that is completely wrong. Why would they not give us heavy from xur but let us take an extra hour of not more of playtime and lose that? They made that the weekly update about the heavy ammo bug [b]2[/b] weeks ago. Xur hasn't sold heavy for [b]5[/b] weeks. I think this is a clever disguise for activision to boost there numbers on this games play time. In November there was 9.5 million registered guardians. Now yes some may have left but we also have gained plenty especially around Christmas. Now think about it, let's just say the bare minimum of people playing a week is a million just to prove a point. They need heavy in order to do there raids right?if xur sold heavy they could easily have 20 synths already in there inventory no problem, but they don't have it from xur so they have to glimmer farm once a week for an hour to max out glimmer (even though most farm glimmer 2, 3 times a week.) now how many extra hours does that add a week? A shit ton. I don't think xur is rng they just want us to think he is. I have no proof but how is it possible that he had the exact same inventory twice within 2 months? If it was rng the statistics for that would be like getting a helm of saint 14 for a warlock. Just not possible. Also brings up my point of all the dark below content only he has been selling. It's like that to try to convince people who don't have the dark below kind of want it. The only reason they had a semi okay inventory this week was to compensate for last weeks inventory. They definitely saw the riot last week in the forums. I'm sure there was a huge drop in playtime last weekend. I know I stopped until reset out of pure frustration with it. Bungie and activision probably didn't want that again this week. If more people acknowledge why xur doesn't have heavy this week due to them trying to milk out more playtime i bet xur will have heavy next week. please let me know what you think, if you agree or disagree. just dont be a dick

Tebow!" until the game freezes. 16. My Ghost has the voice of Gilbert Gottfried. 17. My Ghallajorn shoots banana cream pies. 18. This game is ruining my marriage? 19. 2 RepliesThere has been problems with heavy synths that were bought particularity from Xur. When used they didnt give you rockets for example. You got a big fat zero and still had to wait the 5 minutes cool down period. Hence why people including me think this is why he is not selling them.

I agree with everything u said except for the term "clever disguise". It's not "clever". It's actually quite obvious and ridiculous.

The human brain is exceptional at detecting patterns. It'll detect patterns even when there aren't any. Randomness and small sample sizes will very easily fool people into thinking there's something controlling the randomness. People see what they want to see.

So they know we are not gonna farm glimmer for heavy ammo synths, cause we Dont need it. If they would like to let us play longer, than they prob would change the exclusion zone Cause u can get about 10 heavy ammo synths in 20 min. About the same time you need for a weekly which gives you 9 Coins, so 9 synths. Sounds like bullcrap to me

Before anyone decides to say it, yes heavy is needed in order to beat Crota. That doesn't mean everyone has to use their heavy on him, you could decide who'd use what for dps. That way you won't run out of your heavy synth crutches.

3 RepliesThe update about heavy was 2 weeks ago. The acknowledgement by bungie on it being a bug occurred in November. You know what happened the same week the heavy ammo synthesis drought began with xur? Just take a guess. [spoiler]hard mode crota was released[/spoiler]
