Unfair!?
Us loyal and focused PvE players got our guns nerfed because of PvP players incessant whining. That, that is unfair.
Unfair; PvP player got the Iron Banner bounties all to themselves, PvE players had to share the Queen's bounties.
Unfair; at least 2 out of 3 Exotic Bounties require PvP play.
Unfair; the vast majority of you whiners will be Ghosts as soon as the new COD drops (play on words intended), but we PvE players will still be here grinding away and dealing with the fallout from the incessant whining of PvP players.
So take your cries of "unfair" and stifle them right up your whiney arses.

Изменено (Atamusk): 10/20/2014 9:15:46 PMBungie is re-buffing mytho specifically because it's not good enough in pve. The real meat of queens wrath was the pve missions, not the bounties. You have to pve for ALL exotic bounties. So yeah it actually is pretty fair, and there should be a way for the PvP crowd to get 30.

Изменено (ReydrX): 10/20/2014 10:10:43 PMLOL. I suppose if loot runs and killing a few enemies along the way is too stressful for a PvPer, then yeah - collecting 500 PvE kills would be strenuous. Honestly though, you can easily collect 500 kills in under 90 minutes running a single mission as a Level 20. Hell, I collected more than that as a Level 7. Not too stressful. On the other hand running 25 strikes just to find out you need to collect 10,000 points in PvP (on maps with remarkably lousy lines of sight)....HUGE slap in the face. (Bad Juju). Needless to say I file thirteened that insult of a bounty. Just about the only bounty that is truly a challenge - even for us PvE players - is Dubious Task. That one is a freaking beast. The vast majority of bounties are pretty much the equivalent of running in circles for a few minutes - then being sent to PvP. Thanks but no thanks.
-
10k points in PvP is ludicrously easy, you just keep playing until the bounty is complete. The only hard one is for thorn, because it is element specific, but xyor is a bastard too, so thorn is just overall a pain. I found that in general, the bounties are easy to complete, regardless of PvP or pve focus.
-
Unless you have boycotted PvP since Bungie hosed you during their ranking level "balancing" on Halo 3. Now, if you boycott PvE....then why did you even buy the game??
-
It's bs they keep nerfing guns. I went to pvp for exotic bounty with maxed shotgun ran up behind a guy shot him 6 times in head and he turn shot me 1 time and I died
-
Ain't "balanced" play grand? Instead of nerfing guns; which affects ALL player-types, why not just level the field with predetermined loadouts? Seems more rational than sticking it to those whom choose not to PvP.
-
Well said
-
Don't forget how bungie lied and lmade the "your gear matters" iron banner no different than regular crucible..so as not to alienate the lower levels and make it balanced and fair...what a joke

You good sir made my day

Was alittle harsh

I will accept and own that feedback. There are two things I have never claimed to be; patient or nice. I have my strengths, but those two attributes are not among them.

Изменено (Rho'gath): 10/20/2014 12:40:06 PMhaha I mainly play PvE because of the lack of proper matchmaking in PvP ( seriously, wtf? http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/74000105). Even so I don't find PvP exotic bounties that hard, I completed the Thorn bounty in less then an hour playing salvage (3.0 to 3.6 k/d a game will do that apparently). But I had my shotguns damage at range nerfed because people complained about it being used to camp corners in PvP. THAT I cannot stand for. Now I have my theories about how the PvP community cries nerf, I believe that it the items called for nerf stem from the items Xur sells (lets face it, you can't buy exotics with crucible marks) and that they have no friends to play the raid with in order to get the good things. Raid is hard? please it's easy to do the raid then it is find a whole team of competent players in PvP
-
You, friend, seemed to overlook the fact I do not play PvP on principle. After getting boned by Bungie on the Halo 3 ranks reset - screw PvP. The handful I have "played" were actually my seeing if Bungie was using Traffic Shaping" to route more bandwidth to PvP at certain points. I am happy to say, judging by the network instability I experienced while in that PvP cesspool - we are all getting boned equally. So, allow me to reiterate. Bungie effed me on PvP back in Halo 3, so I declared I will never support Bungie's PvP for the rest of their or my existence. I will never again PvP my brains out for weeks, only to be completely worked over because some pencil pusher decided it would be a good idea to "balance gameplay" by "tweaking" this or that. YET....thanks to whiney PvPers crying about the Mythocast - every motherloving Legendary and above Auto Rifle got nerfed. So, here I am minding my own business in PvE land Still getting screwed over because some whiney PvPers want things to be more "balanced". Well, I hope everyone of those PvPers who whined get wiped out by a Level 7 armed with the lowest possible shotgun in the existence of the game - that's "balanced". In the meantime, these whiners need to accept their rank means virtually nothing in PvP; and thanks to them the same goes for weapon choice, so they can keep their tears OFF the Raids - those belong to PvE so piss off.
-
You already bought the game, they don't care what you do
-
Wait! You're not supporting Bungie in pvp? You payed for the whole game, right. Strong message you're sending there.

I support Bungie through investing thousands of dollars of game purchases, changing/updating game consoles to move with them. I support Bungie through countless hours of storyline grinding. Turns out player participation is not measured by PvP play alone - especially not when game consoles themselves generate these statistics each and every time you load the game. So, you were saying?
-
Bro! This was meant for smitten, the complainer. He said he's done supporting bungie in pvp, after paying for the game. My phone's derping hard! BTW, you spend too much on this $hit.
-
My bad. The app for Android only shows the end post when checking notifications.

-
I find this funny since i find pve just as shallow as pvp
-
Shallow? Do you know what separated Halo from Call of Duty? It certainly was not the initial PvP experience of the two. It was, is, and always will be the storyline. If you do not want to play the storyline, you are simply seeking out the latest in PvP - which negates the theory of "loyal PvPers". That, that is shallow.
-
I mean woow the depth of this story is so deep i feel like i am drowning!
-
Do you remember how long it took to develop the Halo storyline. It took a bunch of missions to get a small chunk of story. Be patient, because Destiny will get there too.
