I just watched Datto's video where he talks about the Armor 2.0 reveal but then immediately talks about "Weapons of Light" coming back.
He groans and puts his face in his hands. Then starts pissing and moaning about buffs stacking and how he doesn't want it.
He really is trying to make this game just for him, isn't he? I wasn't even fully aware how much Datto is influencing the direction of this game but I've read a few things about it and now it's rather obvious after watching his video with how much it coincides with various nerfs making the rounds.
Bungie's gonna lose a lot more players if they just keep trying to appease the try-hard streamer demographic like Datto and others. The smallest percentage wants specific nerfs to weapons and classes they don't use and buffs to the ones they do but they're "influencers" so Bungie wants to give them what they want. Hope this company can make a living off ten percent of their original player numbers. ......or maybe I don't hope that.

-blam!-ing hardcore players want to screw up casual players

He is a crying baby.

I think he doesn’t like it because he’s a titan main then he’ll run it because it will probably become a meta in raids even tho he could just run anything else because well even after the nerf will probably be the go to

Everything you just said is wrong lmao

He brings up a valid point. If the two stacked all hopes of any difficulty in the game would vanish entirely. It would not be ok and anybody with an objective eye can see that plain as day. He gives his opinion which he is more than allowed to do. Most times its pretty good and comes from experience but he has and will admit when he's -blamed!- up. Honestly, all you people treat him and so many other like villains when they're people who have a large amount of experience with Destiny and games in general. They understand what will and will not work. And sure there's defnitely SOME conflict of interest but thats unavoidable. Thats simply how games with any competitive aspect whether it be PvE or PvP work nowadays. The top tier need to be allowed to make some calls on stuff and thats fine. They know what's going on and what they're doing most times. The only person this statement you've made applies to is Mtashed.

The top tier should never be allowed to make calls on this game unless they made the game

Many games that currently exist would have already failed if there weren't calls made by those with the most experience. It cant be casual only or hardcore only in a game like Destiny, get over it
