You're absolutely right. Remember when D2 Vanilla launched and it was a complete flop? D2 Vanilla was developed based on community(streamers) feedback. The streamers cried constantly about how unbalanced D1 was and Bungie listened. D2 Vanilla launched and was as balanced as Destiny had ever been and........the majority of the D1 fanbase rejected it. Streamers and hardcores alike would like you to believe they are, and represent the majority, when in fact, they are not. The majority of Destiny's fanbase consists of players like me. We want tons of overpowered loot and powerful subclasses that will allow us to steamroll hordes of enemies in cool environments with the occasional mechanic thrown in. Minimal challenge required. The best thing these asshat streamers can do is chew up swallow their opinions and provide entertaining content, lest they find themselves out of a job when Bungie over corrects and sinks the ship. Like they almost did with D2 Vanilla.

I will never understand this hate for Datto. He is a guy who makes videos explaining all his points in great detail. If you don't agree that's fine but you're also not giving any feedback aside from saying how much you hate streamers.

Clearly Bungie's answer to making difficult is to nerf rather than creating more interesting/challenging content. Since D1 the majority of encounters is grab some balls, throw said balls, stand on a plate, group up on said plate and dps the boss. There is clearly a lack of diversity. If boss fights required movement, then things like weapons of light/armor(D1 bubble titans), Well would not be dominating the PVE scene. It's not Well that is op or broken, it is the lack of creativity/challenging encounters that allow these abilities to be rampant. Back in D1, the best strikes were the ones that required you to move or die if you stand still (cabal brothers, the rise of iron strike with the unkillable ogre). Bungie needs to create encounters that require you to move around as opposed to giving an ample period of time to allow for camping. Or they can create new enemies which can either suppress/nullify your abilities and supers or can oneshot you even while in your super. If you look at Warframe/DE, at times they do nerf things that are overpowered but most recently in these past years they try creating new challenging content/enemies without the need of nerfing abilities. Bungie only listens to streamers because it is easy. It is easy for them to just nerf things because they are lazy and they will continue to do so.

Also people are saying the well nerf was needed but now bubble is going to replace it. And just to let everyone know you cannot die in a bubble at all in pve (wipe mechanics don’t count). Yes well healed fast but you could still die, it doesn’t have impenetrable walls. They should’ve just kept everything as is because now titans are going to be pigeon holed into running bubble. Oh well.

Well needed to have something done to it. Well made PvE easy mode. Stand in well, melt boss, repeat

Actually, a lot of players who play for challenge and or PvP primarily agree with most of what the streamers say. They are part of our community and clans. They represent our portion of players. There are 1000s of normal players posting on Reddit or the forums at all times. The second one of us speaks about issues we have, we are downvoted and spit on. The streamers speak for most of us, otherwise we wouldn't have a voice. We get muted. Besides that, I have had several post on here and Reddit talking about things that need changing or things that are going to play poorly before they happen. I get downvoted and told I am speaking to early, we need to wait and see. Fast forward like 3 months and the same crap I posted, gets posted again, and has like 10k upvotes and silver/gold. Truth is a lot of stuff needs tuning... Getting into Bungie now: For the sake of tradition they made black hammer again pre Nerf. They for whatever reason had a misguided thought process on why this kind of gun should be made again. Perhaps they remade it to make people swoon. remember at the time curse of Osiris was a really bad expansion and there was a huge drought window of content. With warmind coming in they did not want that to happen again. Well of radiance is a cool super and they thought it was better than I self reviving warlock. It is better than d1s sunsinger by far. Look at what the super does. you need to understand that now it makes the players break the rules of engagement and just sit in one spot and DPS something down. The Community I feel has the ability to go into a coma....Did we not complain about bullet sponges and uninteresting boss encounters? Yet we're all going to sit in a well shooting at bullet sponges? If you Nerf weapons in the name of balance then you take things out of the pool for people to use. Balance everything and you risk all weapons losing their identity. people are so caught up in their feelings when they start posting in anger and frustration that they don't realize that bungie looks at these things and takes them to a degree of seriousness. This is why people look to streamers because people like datto can do this. Glad, esoterickk, aztecross, byf, Mylen games, are pretty popular and if they say something about the game and Bungie sees that more million-plus people agree with it then they're going to say that generally they have a valid and reliable statement. you may not agree with 1% of what they're saying but that doesn't mean that whatever they're saying is not agreeable or untrue. and if you're not subscribed to them you have to do your best to bring up your points that you would brought to light. Bungie should listen to streamers over feedback on this forum every time. Its not even close. Its so rare to see a constructive critical post here. Most of them are hyperbolic nonsense.

Tru dat. I didn't see any issues with Well of Radiance. As long as I can 1 shot someone standing in well using a fusion rifle, I am good.
