The Best of Year 1 engram idea is kinda meh..
For people who play a lot, you're supposed to just keep dismantling everything and wait for the items you want to be available for dust.
For people that dont, you can pay.
Personally, as Ive said in another post, Im just tired of in game stores in general..

Or, hear me out. Let the players acquire the new content through regular play (the completely new opulence gear) and make the best of year 1 shit available through purchase. Afterall, it’s not like we payed 30 for new content or anything.
-
Considering an exotic item can go for 3000-4000, that means you need to dismantle 6-8 from the best of year one engrams to buy one Anyone who hasn’t stocked up on bright dust is screwed. Though hey I can finally justify my stock of 50000

Hate the idea. You can stick the old stuff in with the new. Just give me some excitement when getting an eververse Engram.

I want them to add a guy like in resident evil four I believe who is randomly appearing in different places for a few minutes at a time to open his coat and sell stuff for bright dust only. Might as well have fun trolling the butt hurt entitlement militia.

Like xur, but here's randomly on different planets selling eververse stuff, but for bright dust instead of silver. Xur sells real things, not cosmetics.

I'm pissed that these changes weren't retroactively applied to the Y1 items we already paid/grinded for. straight trash decision from Bungie.
