Having a weapon "easy" to get doesn't cheapen it. It can feel that way to people, I agree, but the actual value of the weapon is earned by time spent playing for it. I myself am not a great pvp player, I loved Y1 and had a decent KD but now I can freely say I suck with the faster ttk after Forsaken. But, crucible is honestly the only reason I keep playing. I enjoy it. I'm not great but I enjoy it. And allowing people like myself, who play solo and are just barely average in comp skills, will only help the current state of pvp. Keep the playerbase more engaged with a feeling of accomplishment, like the Gambit pinnacles, and have even better versions of the crucible pinnacles weapons (not forgotten) for the people with the time, skill, and allies and to achieve them. But myself, and the majority of the people I know personally playing Destiny, don't touch comp, because we know we'll never be able to reach the higher ranks because we aren't good enough. AND THAT'S OK. But having a weapon as "easily" available as the new sniper will, imo, bring back droves of people to the comp playlist because we feel like there we can actually achieve something. Which, also makes many matches easier for those with greater skill. It's a win-win if people will get over the concept of average players having access to good guns. The game is all around more fun for EVERYONE that way.

That's not the point genius. My statement was my opinion. My point is that I dont think everyone and their mother deserve a crucible pinnacle that easily. But you're probably a casual, so my point falls on deaf ears
