It’s not about the first match. It’s about the environment that first match takes place in. In my first match of Modern Warfare 2 I got decimated by a lot of people using the FAMAS. It took several matches, but by using my own FAMAS I was able to start getting kills and it felt good. I continued playing until I was always topping matches.
I couldn’t imagine playing Crucible for the first time the way things are now. New players don’t stand a chance against any decent player wielding Luna, seeing as it’s a “noob slayer.”

It's literally the same thing. Except you can grind for a famas with out doing PvP here. This is a loot based game. Having better loot not be better is silly.

You can’t grind for Luna anywhere else except Comp PvP.... If it was the same then in Modern Warfare 2 you’d only get a FAMAS by playing a shitload of Search and Destroy against people who already have it, and losing set back your progress.
