Money grab?
What is wrong with a company trying to make money? I'm sure you don't complain when you get a raise or a paycheck.
There are people who claim that Destiny as a game may not solvent (not sure how true it is). Yet people want to complain about their money.
Don't even bring Activision's money into this. It's not how their partnership works.

Most people only give someone money though in exchange for something they want need or expect to receive in exchange for said money. Bungie has not fulfilled any of that criteria. It would be like give me a 100.00 and I will go the casino and hopefully win your 100.00 and then some more if not oh well sorry about your money it didn't work out.

Not sure how that makes it a money grab. They've created underwhelming products as far as some people are concerned. But that just means people should be skeptical about their products. Many companies go through ups and downs in their product lines. Many movie studios have bad movies and or bad sequels. It doesn't make it a cash grab, just a bad studio.

I didn't say it was a money grab. Was making a point though. Bungie has proved nothing so I will not be giving them my money. I will let others buy it and read the posts then decide. Past history should make all players of this game leary.

Sorry, when you responded to my post questioning the OP about his statement about money grab. Agreed that people should be cautious and that Bungie hasn't always delivered a solid product. I'm definitely in wait and see mode. .

No big deal. All is cleared up. Just sad that we have to think about pre ordering in the first place. It should be a no brainer. Sadly it's not.

I think for the most part it's that the Eververse was put into the game originally to fund free content drops throughout the year. What remains to be seen is whether these expansions are within the scope of what we previously expected for free due to the microtransactions or whether they're substantial enough to have enough perceived value that they're worth paying for. I suspect enough people will pay purely because of their destiny addiction, and not because they actually want to.
