Here is what I did. Grind court of oryx and complete the quest for the 300 artifact. Grind out that exotic sword quest for a 310 weapon. Ok. So now you've bumped your light up some. Grind all 3 characters to level 5 iron banner. You'll get some 300 plus drops along the way and at rank 3 you get a 310 artifact. So now you have two items at 310. Then the level 5 packages hold 310 + gear. For example, I got a 318 chest piece, 314, nirwins, and 315 diedris report shot gun. At this point you'll be 303-305. Now just continue popping 3 of coins and you can get 310 drops. Also, do stuff like srl and crimson doubles. Ive completed the raid 2x and have 3 310+ characters. My hunter is 317. You can do it.
