Destiny leveling rant
So to lay it all down for you so you can understand. I am a light level 294 and am having ridiculous amounts of trouble getting to light level 300. Mostly because the methods that you are mainly supposed to us are prevented by the community.
#1. Everyone says use raids for the leveling your light and you will get to 300 with no issue. Yeahhhh...how am I supposed to accomplish this when all the f**king people I play with kick me out of or don't accept me into their group because I am not the level they want me to be. WHICH IS ALWAYS 300+. You can't even use this because everyone in the recruitment forum thinks that they're leveling time is more important then the people below them in level. Ok, you guys earned your level, I respect you for that...so let us earn ours.
#2. Other people say do trials of Osiris. I'm not even going to make something long for this because it is the same exact situation as the raids.
3. Infusing is the most stupid gear upgrading system destiny has ever done. There's literally no point in infusing any of my gear. Even if I could. All the gear I get anymore isn't better than what I have, which brings me to my raid problem, that's the only place I can obtain gear that's guaranteed to be better than what I already have. When I'm trying to improve a 285 light weapon with a 295 weapon it'll become like a 289-290 light weapon. That is just bulls**t, who would want to do that. It makes no f**king sense.
#4. Three of coins use to be a basic farming cheat. But that crap has been patched and I use literally 5 of those once (not stacked) on the same mission and didn't get s**t.
And I know bungies not going to read this, and I know some people are going to hate this. And frankly I don't care. I'm not going to respond to any hate comments because I don't want waste my time with a pointless argument. All I'm saying is that I'm tired of your leveling bulls**t Bungie. Peace out.

Those people asking for 300+ for Normal King's Fall aren't worth it. Look for different groups Otherwise Iron Banner and Trials are the only way. -With trials, justice go for the bounties and hopefully find people doing the same. The gold teir can (sometimes) drop some nice stuff. Nightfall can as well sometimes, at least higher than your current light anyway If you have trouble finding groups I suggest a website called The 100. -you join a group of (roughly) 100 people -people create groups for specific events that anyone can join (in the group), such as raids -I've found these people to be far more forgiving than on LFG since you may end up playing with them again Good luck

Actually, your best bet for getting to 300 is court of oryx. You'll get engrams for days and can farm level 3 for 3 of coins.

1 ответ3 IBs took me from 294 to 310. Solo. Also, just patrolling the Dreadnaught will give you blues at 300 or high 290s fairly frequently.

There's a lot of people out there in the same boat, go on lfg and make your own group, there's more than likely enough people out there willing to join you. If your on the Xbox one I can help find you a group and run you through the raid, I usually run 3-4 normal raids a day helping people out.

1 ответI play solo and finding raid and trials teams is hard but possible. Keep searching and be patient. Iron banner gives decent rewards rank 4 onwards. Grind that. Three of coins is the worst thing to happen to destiny and infusion is one of the best

5 отв.Изменено (Wells): 3/18/2016 3:45:31 PMHere is what I did. Grind court of oryx and complete the quest for the 300 artifact. Grind out that exotic sword quest for a 310 weapon. Ok. So now you've bumped your light up some. Grind all 3 characters to level 5 iron banner. You'll get some 300 plus drops along the way and at rank 3 you get a 310 artifact. So now you have two items at 310. Then the level 5 packages hold 310 + gear. For example, I got a 318 chest piece, 314, nirwins, and 315 diedris report shot gun. At this point you'll be 303-305. Now just continue popping 3 of coins and you can get 310 drops. Also, do stuff like srl and crimson doubles. Ive completed the raid 2x and have 3 310+ characters. My hunter is 317. You can do it.

It is a pain. Do iron banner like everyone is saying. Rank 3 gets you a 310 artifact and rank 5 will give you something 310-320. Once you're 300 you can get 310 exotic drops as well. It has matchmaking so you don't have to worry about finding a team. Also, If you are having trouble leveling up wait until towards the end of the week to turn in all your bounties. There is a buff each day iron banner runs and by the last day its up like 150% or something.

All 3 of mine are over 300, been in Kings fall twice and trials once. It's mainly exotics and iron banner that got me there.

You may have to join a clan. There plenty of them that would help you, but you'll have to look around. As suggested by others already, making your own group can help. People will come to you instead for raid runs. It might take a while though. Honestly, unless there's something specific that you want, don't waste your time. You can just wait for the Spring Update and start catching up then. It'll be super easy to level up with all the new gear, and then you can try and jump in end game activities ASAP, so you won't be behind like you are now.

And sign up for the 100. There are plenty of game creators that accept lower levels. Some won't, but some create games as a tutorial in walking you through all strats.

Why are you so hopelessly useless? Seriously go make your own damn group or find a group who runs with casuals. Everyone starts at the bottom. And typically in mmo type games the way to get the best gear is to do the end game content like raids and such which usually is group content

Do you play IB? You are going to get handed a bit at your light level, but you can still reach rank 5 and get higher light stuff along the way.
