Why does everyone despise PvP? It constantly challenges you, as to where pve make you repeat the same crap over and over. I'm tired of doing the same thing. So until there are some major changes and fixes, PvP is where you'll find this guy.

Because you PvP cryhards ruin the game with your shouts to nerf every weapon under the sun. Every time you die in a game you come to the forums to claim "this-and-that are OP! Nerf it!! Nerf Thorn! Nerf Suros! Nerf Vex! Nerf supers!".. Like, what the f_ck is the matter with y'all? These nerfs screw over everybody in PvE. But yeah, enjoy those 6 maps you play on. Real variety right there.

Because PvP doesn't challenge you. It's not challenging to use Fusion Rifles and Shotguns, watching your radar. It's not challenging to Shoulder Charge everything that moves. It's not challenging to panic super whenever someone got the drop on you. It's not challenging to be shoved into lagfest lobbies where you trade blows and die before you turn a corner. There's no challenge in PvP. Every game is the same. It's pretty much on the same level of mundaneness as the PvE but at least there's more do in the PvE.

A good pvper is not nessesarily good at pve and visa versa, there are challenges to be found in both and different tactics and gear needed. What annoys me in pve is bungie has opted for more of a cheap difficulty rather than something that is hard because of how well it is designed or how good the ai is and what bungie allows them to do.

1 ReplyEh. Normally I love PvP in games, but Destiny isn't really interesting me. To me it feels just as repetitive as everything else in Destiny, everybody's using the same equipment, same strategies, same everything. Even if the guns have different names, they feel the same, yaknow? It's bland I guess, and quite possibly the least rewarding activity in Destiny. There's no real way to be unique in it, which is typically what I love the most about playing in stuff like PvP, kicking their asses in a different way. Maybe if I played with my friends in PvP like I play with them in PvE it'd be fun, since PvE is just as bland without them, but I kinda doubt it. I'll certainly enjoy it sometimes, but I'll never really go unless I have something like Iron Banner or exotic bounties motivating me.
It probably doesn't help that I spend a bunch of time here reading about PvPers bitch about literally everything, and watch them get guns nerfed for PvE as well.
1 ReplyComing from someone that played every halo, destiny pvp is trash.

2 RepliesThis game is heavily geared for pvp dude. And pvp is broken. This patch, hopefully, will address some of those issues.

1 ReplyThe only thing I don't like about PVP is its ranking system, or should I say the lack there of. I love getting into matches that are down to wire, and teams are pretty evenly matched. But the other side of that coin is just dreadful. A Fireteam of experienced PVPers that destroy you by over 10,000 points. I don't hate the players. I hate that somehow the matchmaking decided we would all be a good fit.

1 ReplyI hate the PVP community there away complaining. Yes some have reason and other just streight up complainers. You can never satisfied them. People been wanting buff and nerf on certain weapons for a while. Update now going to tune them and what you find people b****ing. Don't be piss at bungie people blame those who wanted buff and nerf. This idea was from the feedback they get. Majority were from PVP players.

4 RepliesHate on pvpers in general, no, hate of pvpers that try and tell me running in a circle shooting the computer is vastly different than running in a circle shooting other players, yes. Both aspects of the game are repetitive and require limited skill, not that greater skill is not an asset. PvE doesn't require much strategy to win, but I enjoy trying different ones out, I find this is less of an option in PvP.

2 RepliesSee my similar post tonight. I'm as confused as you about the animosity.
-
5 RepliesYeah because in PvP ppl don't do the exact same thing every match. At least a properly done Raid requires skill and strategy and only a minority completes them. In an MMO, everyone PvPs but not everyone completes a Raid on the highest Difficulty (not more than the 1% completes it on the hardest difficulty)

2 RepliesIt's okay I guess, I just want more "shoot these aliens guardian " and less "shoot these guardians guardian"
-
7 RepliesMaybe because all weapon nerfs for the benefit of PvP are unnecessary in PvE but they affect us PvE players anyway.

5 RepliesConstantly challenges you? Hahah you wishwish. It's the lagfest shit with shitty team mates 9/10
