how do people still not have a full set of raid gear?
I created a third toon (a Titan) and within 3 resets had it to 32 along with my hunter that is also 32.
My warlock also has a full set. Just waiting on the shards.
I see people complaining about how they aren't getting gear... Maybe I just got lucky. But the loot system seems to be broken for a lot of people.
What piece(s) are you waiting on?
Edit: the consensus seems to be that rng is a bitch and for some reason the chest is ridiculously hard to get.
Patch notes claim that there is "less of a chance of duplicates". Has anyone tried having all of the armor that you already have equipped while doing the raid? That seemed to work for me. Maybe something to do with the rng recognizing what you already have and giving you something different. I would say not to use your tower gear to get to a higher level. Use your previously obtained gear.
Just a little theory.
Also a lot of people are having a hard time finding people to play with. I am recruiting to my clan if anyone wants a regular group of people to play with. Link to apply is below:

I've done the raid many times. But all I get is shards or weapons. Not a single piece of armor has dropped.

"Less of a chance" means there is still a chance. 6....7 weeks in a row I've gotten gauntlets on my Warlock. 6 of those weeks I had the gauntlets equipped while receiving new ones. I'm missing the chest on my Warlock, and the Gauntlets on my Titan, who, for some reason, can't get them to drop, despite how frequently my Warlock gets them, and my Hunter has had them 3-4 times as well. My Titan on the other hand has had the chest piece drop 3 times, and the boots twice. My Hunter finally got the boots last week, allowing me to finally get a character to 32. RNG just hates some people. No big mystery.

Why do people not have full raid gear? Why?! You do not know why? Same reason people do not own Ghorn. It's all random. I wasn't able to randomly aquire those pieces, I wasn't lucky like others.

Missing the helmet for my hunter and I've yet to take my titan into a raid (need better gear for him and need to max out defender )

2 RepliesThe funny thing is they said it's being monitored, what a load of s#;t I have full gear for my hunter. I have run Crota every week and the rng refuses to give me a pair of boots for my warlock!! I have had chest and arms x2 but never boots!!!

My run yesterday got me 6 shards, 4 energies, ghorn and no land beyond. Still no chest or helm :|

I've gotten 2 gauntlets and a chestpiece in all my runs, despite the fact I was wearing the raid gauntlets when the second pair dropped and use an exotic chestpiece so I have no use for the chestpiece until I finish my collection.

Its all just RNG. My friend has done the raid at least twice a week since the dark below came out and still hasn't found a chest armor. Hes had four gloves, and like five boots...

I just started raiding Crota recently. I was playing far cry, AC unity, shadow of mordor, and GTA for while. I just need 17 more shards and still have to raid on all three characters this week. Hopefully I will get enough.
