how do people still not have a full set of raid gear?
I created a third toon (a Titan) and within 3 resets had it to 32 along with my hunter that is also 32.
My warlock also has a full set. Just waiting on the shards.
I see people complaining about how they aren't getting gear... Maybe I just got lucky. But the loot system seems to be broken for a lot of people.
What piece(s) are you waiting on?
Edit: the consensus seems to be that rng is a bitch and for some reason the chest is ridiculously hard to get.
Patch notes claim that there is "less of a chance of duplicates". Has anyone tried having all of the armor that you already have equipped while doing the raid? That seemed to work for me. Maybe something to do with the rng recognizing what you already have and giving you something different. I would say not to use your tower gear to get to a higher level. Use your previously obtained gear.
Just a little theory.
Also a lot of people are having a hard time finding people to play with. I am recruiting to my clan if anyone wants a regular group of people to play with. Link to apply is below:

Just got titan chest but prior to that i got 3x arms and 3x legs. I have an exotic helm almost upgraded and am almost rank 4 with eris so im maybe a few more gaming sesh's away from 32. I still want that slightly funny looking raid helm though. Damned rng.

Because crota does not want to give me a helmet. I have the other 3 peices on 2 characters. I just need a helmet foe both.

To anyone that's complaining, I'm assuming you all were not around when VOG came out? I'm still playing it on Hard with all 3 characters almost every week (for the Gally, playing since day one and still haven't gotten it) and have not yet received all the armor gear (even though I don't need it) for 2 of my characters.Hell, I don't even have all the VOG weapons yet but did have enough VOCs to fill up my entire vault space. Crotas End was tweaked to give out rewards more consistently with a better drop rate. Huge difference between VOG drops and CE drops.

I've beaten it 3 times a week and still no helmet, hunger of crota or black hammer or cloak. I've also only received the ship once.

I haven't beat the raid yet. Basically all the stuff I've received is through checkpoints with randoms who needed help. and soloing whatever I can.

I've had 2 hunter chests, boots and gloves. 2 warlock chests, boots and gloves, yet no helm between all 3 chars after doing Crota since the 2nd week on all of them. Same deal with weapons, 3 Hunger of Crotas and a hmg, yet no black hammer. That rng is just going to bite you quite a bit.

Warlock is only level 29 atm.

Less duplicates? I got 5 black hammers, 5 vog sparrows, 3 ae, 2 praetorian foils, and this is after the patch. If you get a gun your chances of getting that gun should be cut in half. It's like a slap in the face to finish crota and get something I got 5 completions ago

1 ReplyI don't bother to play it. Simple enough. Another reason is I enjoy raiding with my brother and best friend. But my best friend is in boot camp for the marines until August. So I want to play it with my raiding buddies together, not some random people.

I've gotten like 6 gloves and 4 boots i finally got chest last week, and with either exotic helmet i can get 32. Probably do normal again for radiant shards and do hard next week as a 32

I've only done CE twice, I also only have one guardian. Out of the two times I've done it, I haven't gotten raid gear.
