Those Who Use Thorn in PVP
Just stop. You're not good. I have one and use it and it's just too Over powered. Use something that requires more skill. I like the gun but I have dignity when entering the crucible.
Edit:
My K/D is prime and I do well in the Crucible. But getting three body shots with a Thorn and then running away letting the DoT do the rest is pretty annoying... to anyone. Getting killed by any other weapon even the VexM takes skill.

I only use it because 1. I suck at crucible 2. I needed a good k/d to get invective 3. It's easy to get kills for invective

1 ReplyThis is Destiny. Everything is overpowered and it's designed that way. A perfect stability sniper that makes you invisible? OP. A one hit infinite use titan melee? OP. An insta-kill panic button void ball? OP. A one-hit golden pistol with 3, maybe 4 rounds? OP. Shotguns, fusion rifles, Vex, Suros, DONT YOU GET IT YET?! This game is built around ridiculously overpowered tools BY DESIGN. If you don't like it, then play something else like CoD. Stop whining that the gun you get killed by the most is OP, because you probably have even more tools at your disposal than anyone else that could just as well be considered overpowered. Rant over. You sniveler.

2 RepliesWhen you say "my K/D is prime" what exactly did you mean? All my characters have excellent K/D's: Hunter has a 4.0 K/D all around. Titan is close to a 3.0. Having a hard time getting that up for some reason, despite the fact i average a 3.0 or higher nearly every match. Warlock has a 3.25 all over. Oh, and ill use whatever weapon i feel like using.

Everyone needs to stop complaining, plenty of ways to counter weapons like thorn, need to change up your play style if it ain't working. And this isn't mlg dude... aim of the game is to get kills so obviously why would you not use a weapon that gets kills easily? +10 teara collected for weak PvP skills :)

Thorn is life. Thorn isnt one shot kill like shotguns and fusion rifles...so I dunno what the fuss is about.

My biggest issue is with the assholes that use the mega power beginning rifle. The cracked sights are so OP. Everything died when u pull the trigger. Dammit bungie!!! We bought a game about tickle fights!!! WTF are all of these guns doing here shooting me repeatedly!!!

4 RepliesYou know how I know that you have never been in a fight in real life? Because you have not figured out that in order for you to win, the other guy has to lose. And you bring to bear every single advantage that you have to make that happen. Pick a fight at school (I'm assuming you are a kid because no adult is that ignorant) and try to fight "honorably", let us know how THAT works out for you.
