Those Who Use Thorn in PVP
Just stop. You're not good. I have one and use it and it's just too Over powered. Use something that requires more skill. I like the gun but I have dignity when entering the crucible.
Edit:
My K/D is prime and I do well in the Crucible. But getting three body shots with a Thorn and then running away letting the DoT do the rest is pretty annoying... to anyone. Getting killed by any other weapon even the VexM takes skill.

1 ReplyNot trolling but do you really think Thorn is more effective than the Vex Mythoclast in Crucible? I have both and always do better with the Vex. Though my VoC is my Crucible go to.

Why should someone stop using a gun just because it's not fair to others. It's a game if you don't have the gun tuff luck stop playing crucible and get better gear none of you make sense I swear.

Let's leave it at this. If you use anything other than the Khvostav (or whatever) you don't have skill. Which means 99% of the players have no skill.

Yeah sure... I'll use something like invective instead?? Or P+T and just camp... Maybe suros? Or the Last Word?? Could use the Vex, Plan C... Truth can be a bugger too, maybe I'll use that. Here's the thing, any weapon in the right hands is OP, I've had matches in iron banner where I did better with No Land Beyond than with Thorn. Thorn is beast in the right hands, but so are a lot of weapons... Ever been dropped by a one shot head shot from Hawkmoon????

As much BS as i had to endure as a lvl 24 hunter to get that gun with only 2 lvl 20 void weapons, I'll use Thorn in crucible if I feel like it. It's my crucible trophy; if I want to caress your lifeless cheek with it, I shall. [spoiler]Would you rather I use Suros?[/spoiler]

4 RepliesEvery weapon takes skill. Thorn is finally on par with other exotics. Just because you see more kills with it doesn't make it op. It means people learn how to use it. It's not a perfect exotic by far. People know how to balance out its low points
