Leaked Crotas End Hard Mode Glitch? You Decide
So here's what happened... My buddies and I no problem went through the raid. We arrived at that ol' bastard Crota and began destroying him. Going normal right? Well out of no where while we were lighting up the swordbearer, a gatekeeper came out of no where and killed like half our squad! I shit you not after he killed 3 of our men, he vanished into thin air as we were devastated by the oversoul... I instantly yelled xbox record on that shit as we all stood there confused as hell. Let me know what y'all think. Is hard mode going to have a gatekeeper at the end? Or do you think it was just a glitch. I'm planning on posting the clip to youtube soon and will be sure to edit and post the link..

Alright so check it, watching a youtuber of mine do the hard mode and what do I see at the crota part? A gatekeeper :), was I right? YES lol, I think it was just a coincidence though, happy raiding!

I was always wondering g about the gatekeepers that spawn upstairs... I came to the conclusion that either it's due to the coding they are incapable of not having a gatekeeper spawn when a sword bearer is killed. So they just spawn them up top where no one can go Or they'll be added into the hard raid

So when you beat crota you can jump and see the dead gate keepers in each of the balcony's .. the ones above the exit to the crystal room.

He spawns on top of crystal room. When he comes down he'll be almost instantly teleported back.

I can confirm this on Playstation, one of my raid team has a clip of us getting wrecked by a gatekeeper. Totally fuarked everything, we couldn't believe it! I expect glitches for Hard Mode because of seeing that gatekeeper wizard disappearing and reappearing to fuark us up. Uncool. Trolled by Bungie Devs. :(

jesus this is real....... you gotta kill a sword bearer to kill a gatekeeper to kill crota ( maybe you gotta get the gatekeeper blade)

Gotta be a glitch, we had ogres spawn right after the first series of hits with the first sword as well. Tons of goofy crap happening after the "patch"

We were playing last night and a lucky boomer shot downed the Chalice bearer. It disappeared and stayed gone until we died to Enrage.

Crota's End is full of glitches after the patch. The same happened when they "fixed" the Vault of Glass.

Crazy part is. Last night my group ran Crota and noticed he was a lot more active. He would jump down from his platform, and charge at us up the stairs. Also getting him down 2 times in a row on one sword seemed harder as well because he would get up from the first one and run across (right side) right away, making the sword disappear because we didn't have time to go chase his ass down. Also more Ogres appeared as well. I think Normal is glitching a lot now because of the Hard mode.

I assumed they would make hard mode more difficult, but making a bloody gatekeeper is crazy. Youd have to choose between getting crota or this bastard. And I bet 1 comes every swordbearer Gatekeeper has always been there, but must have glitched down somehow. Game is so buggy, I was playing VoG for a laugh the other day, and vex teleoported to the confluxes around 4+ at a time, was impossible. Never seen it do that lol

Can't be hard mode glitch. They spawn on top of the building. He must have fallen off. If it was hard glitch he would be 33+

There is a gatekeeper on the last part but he is up on the floor above starting crota cp.

Did you cheese the bridge? maybe he came to find you. :) I read somewhere we will have to kill that gatekeeper(s) with the sword, so killing the sword bearer fast will be top priority. They are immune to any other attack.
