Iron Banner is Living proof that the Crota-cheat hurt PvP
So I played IB yesterday a fair amount (20+ games) and come to the Conclusion that most 32s you will come across in IB are people who exploited the hell out of Crota`s End.
I also feel that the Leveladvantage between 32 and 31 is real, anybody that has enough crucible experience under their belt will agree to that fact. You need on average at least one more shot to get in than your opponent who has the Leveladvantage.
The sheer number of Exploiters is really annoying. You get almost 50% of 32s in the Lobby and this number will rise on the weekend. I urge any below 30s to stay away from IB, for the sake of their mental healthiness.
How come I can tell that most 32`s are Cheaters?
From the 25 people I looked up that showed unregular performance (meaning why they have on average between 0.8-1.2 in Crucible they managed to almost double that kd in the games with/against me, only 4 had completed the patched Raid at all, while their stats showed that the week before they had multiple clears with multiple groups with the typical sign that they used Giveawaycheckpoints and the DC (everyone in the team around 20 kills etc.).
Does anybody, especially 30s and 31s have a similar/contradictory experience?
EDIT 1: Funny how the 32s-Cheatfaction is entering this thread and defending its "honor". Most negative comments are of the type:
"You stupid if you thinky thinky all 32 are cheaters"
Then when I reply:
"You stupid for thinky thinky your stats could hide your true colors"
They reply
"You butthurt for looking at stats"
Just keep coming and confirming to all that you are not only bad at the game, but also bad in covering your tracks.

I'm a 31. I have noticed loads of 32s, given the level advantage in PvP for playing PvE. It annoys me because i don't like raiding and don't want to waste hours grinding it. But i haven't noticed an advantage for 32s over me as a 31. It's fun ripping up these 32 raid tryhard because they think being 32 makes them good. But yeah it's broken lol.

Your argument is flawed. Level doesn't matter outside of IB, so if anything, people cheesing the raid to hit 32 hurt IB, but not PVP as a whole.

I believe 31 does 5-10% less damage to 32. 32 does full damage to 31. This is assuming both sides are using maxed out weapons. This affects people who uses low impact weapons, shotguns or fusion rifles more than people who uses high impact weapons.

Why did you have to waste your time posting this? Millions have cheesed the raid and a handful of them are playing Iron Banner, isn't that simple and obvious enough?

I can confirm the level advantage from 31 to 32 is real. I had a 32 titan survive my 31 GG. I was stunned. That shouldn't happen. EVER. I'm a good PvP player and it's very frustrating a person 1 level above me due to luck can completely melt me.

im playing as a level 31 seems to be going well so far.come across a few 32's and its been 50/50. its only 1 day after the reset and the patch, why would they have multiple completions of the raid already for this reset.

What are you talking about, Iron Banner isnt even alive. If anyone where living proof, it'd be the cheesing guardians. If its such a big deal, you probably shouldve beat crota some more and gotten to 32, and get this, you can actually beat him without cheating.

1 ReplyLevel differences in IB barely make a difference. Did about a 2 hour run yesterday and got rekt in one round but went with a 2.25 KD ratio on the next matches. Titan level 30 in IB cuz I need the gloves. The only time I felt a noticeable difference was with a 3 or more level difference. This level 27 guy got the jump on me and I thought I was dead but he barely dented me so I turned around and shredded him. But against level 29 and 31 guys it's fair game. If you're 3 levels or more below 32 you shouldn't be doing IB but at low 30 it really isn't that hard.

IB has always been garbage. Last time it was blue guns dominating over exotics and legendaries and this IB is all about handguns. If you have TLW, Thorn or Hawkmoon then you'll do just fine.

I really don't know the levels and was thrown into some new ones. There will always be perceived imbalances everywhere. Just rise above.

1 ReplyOr a lot of people are just bad at PvP? It's a lot different from PvE, I know a bunch of people I've raided with that could easily hold their own in the raid, but have like a .5 K/D in PvP.

Sorry. I dont see it. Lvl advantage does not stop a lvled up gun. Smple as that. Took out plenty of 31 & 32 with timars lash yesterday. Was so muchhh fun
