Are you also quitting Destiny if hoW...
Makes me re-level any guns in the current format and or causes any more of my guns to become irrelevant......the end.

3 RepliesIt's not the re level I am going to have a problem with, it's the fact of if they have enough content to keep me going. I feel like the only reason I still play the game is ONLY because I have money out into it. HOW is a make it or break it moment for me in the game I don't know if I can keep play phogof over and over again. I kinda feel like they're just taking the front spot just because there are no new games that pop out right now....

If it looks like paid for dlc in future will be replacement content rather than additional content i will seriously have to think about whether this is something I can ethically support with my money.

If you think about it, they should increase attack and light with every dlc. I had this discussion with my friends a couple of days ago. Right now they make our favorite weapons weaker. My opinion was they should not increase attack with the next dlc or make legendary's upgradable. So we can use the weapons we like. But if you think about it the other way. If we can use all weapons that we use right now, why should we need to buy new weapons? Its not that right now the weapons are that great unless you get them as rewards with most of them. And about light level? 2 up is good. But a bit different. Make it that next raid is light 33. That way unless you earn the new gear, that will bring you too 33 (let me finish) you are 1 level below the raid. 31's can also do the raid then but will be hard. Hard mode will be 34 and with hard mode you earn the item that gives you the final upgrade for your armor, bringing you too 34. Without that item, you cant reach max light.

It really is the 3-month timespan that has people frustrated. But then look at how much there is to do now. There isn't shit to do anymore. There needs to be more game. Whens the last time anyone had to go to mars for anything, just as an example. Maybe for the daily, but that planet is always empty. Hell, most of the game world other than the tower is getting bare. People do their stuff on reset and raid. The expansion took everyone like a day to complete. Think of how bored everyone will get between house of wolves and the next one, which I think isn't supposed to realease until september. And I highly doubt people are actually buying HoW, most people are getting it simply because of the season pass we already purchased. Idk...just not enough stuff to do.

3 RepliesEveryone saying you don't know what an MMO is, blah blah blah haha it's ridiculous, what other MMO makes all your gear irrelevant after 3 months at a time and adds in an absolutely pathetic amount of content with each add-on? I played WoW for years and FF14, you can't compare what destiny is with those big boys. Even Bungie don't call Destiny an MMO. This guy has a point and all you fanboys can defend this game as much as you want but I'm guessing a lot of us will have had enough after HoW. Destiny has achieved one thing, ive never seen such blind Fanboyism for a game like this when it blatantly rips off its fanbase every chance it gets.

You can't just expect your guns to level up automatically to the new cap. If you couldn't upgrade your current weapons you'd have to level up new weapons anyway, you can't avoid having to level up weapons each time the cap is raised, so it makes no difference if they are new or old weapons you are leveling up. Bungie could have made it worse and said no you can't upgrade your current weapons to 2.0/3.0 etc, you have to get the new level weapon first and then level it up!

Might as well quit now as that will 100% happen. It's how they've designed the game. Only possibility of that changing is in the sequel years down the line

They really should have just automatically upgraded everyone's exotics who payed for the DLC. Leveling up a weapon the first time around should be enough, period. I hope they do that for HoW, even though I know they won't...

I'm actually starting to get burnt out on this game. So honestly if I have to redo all my stuff again I'll probably be done. Maybe I'll just wait for the last game to be offered this way I'll know that I don't have to redo my gear every few months.

I was dumb enough to think that first DLC would help change some of the glaring problems, but won't make that mistake with the next one. Enjoyed the game for what it was, but the tedium and grinding of the same missions along with Crota's End being no where near as fun as VOG killed whatever hold this game had on me.

3 RepliesNo. Why would I? If I want a current gun to be relevant, I have to work for it. If I don't, I must share it and hope for a drop/purchase. If you are quitting because you have to re-level gear, you should've quit after receiving the second auto rifle in the game.
