12-14 year old destiny players.
Hello I am 14 year old pretty hardcore destiny player I like to think I know quite a lot about the raids and nightfalls BUT! as soon as I join the party and they hear me (I am not a squeaker but you can tell I'm a kid) they automatically assume I am bad. Seriously I'm not bragging but I'm probably more experienced then them. What do you guys think ( adults or kids )

I find that most of the younger players I've encountered in most of the games I've played over the years are typically pretty good. The main reason I tend to avoid them is that most will also just talk constantly about absolutely nothing relevant, which I find insanely annoying. Furthermore, those particular types of children are not the type to listen to others when they respectfully ask them to do/stop doing something.

Im 19 and i play with 30 and 40 year olds so kind of understand where your coming from. Just gotta get some base in your voice. What i don't understand is that this game is rated T for teens and yet older adults in their 30's and 40's get mad when they see a teen like you playing it.

Today i got in a PUG with a squeaky voice kid. My first reaction was 'oh no... not another little child' because everytime i played with some they screamed/quit/did something stupid (one picked up the relic in vog and stayed in the back because 'relic holder needs to survive') but this squeaky voice person i encountered today was great. He even took lead in a very mature way, called out boomers and told others when to kill the swordbearer. Give the squeaky voices a chance to prove themself! They arent all bad.

5 RepliesI haven't met a teen yet that didn't start spouting hashtag this hashtag that. Some of them are really...I mean really annoying and most have no patience at all! Also, it's like if they're hopped out on red bull sometimes, like I said earlier...really annoying. I have met others that are really mature though, but it's rare.

5 RepliesI'm a 10 year old and I have a level 31 titan. I mostly play Crucible and my Dad has a level 31 Hunter and Warlock. I play his crucible for him and got him his Bad Juju. My best k/d was an 8.0 when I went 16-2 and my most kills was 31 kills to 6 deaths while I was doing Iron Banner on my dads Hunter.

I've had a few positive experiences, but negative outweighs positive. MOST times I've raided with kids or grouped with them I end up taking my headset off I get so annoyed with their stupidity. Sorry that you are treated like that but there is a reason for it.

Not gonna lie. You might be experienced, but the majority of the time I'm playing with kids around your age or younger, we never get anything done, especially in vog and CE. But I always at least give them a try

Honestly dude u need to find a consistent group to do raids and stuff with and who won't get annoyed just because you are a "younger player." Many of my Irl friends are gamers and we've played many games including Destiny together for a long time. LFG sites are full of judgmental people so don't be surprised if that happens.

I am 12 in only level 6 right now but I used to have a 27 Titan and a 26 warlock but I restarted as a hunter once again I just started today so I hopefully can get up there quick I would be absolutely enthusiastic if I could get involved in a VOG team or a nightfall once I hit 30 if anyone is interested just hit me up

I'm 19 and I will play with anyone granted they're not bad and not annoying. I'm not saying all younger players are like this, But they are more likely to be both.

I s h i t you not. Had a kid in my FIRETEAM in Crota end that told, better yet screamed "mom, I beat the the raid". Then I said " mom, where's the meatloaf?!??" I just took it all in. Never laughed so hard before on party chat.
